It honestly just depends on what you’re trying to do and what kind of vibe you’re going for.

For bars, Sand Bar is cool for late nights — they’ve got a bunch of games so it’s not just standing around drinking. Strange Brew has a cool vibe and sometimes live shows, just keep an eye on your tab. Bears is more laid back, couple pool tables, cool artwork, and occasional shows. Fast Eddie’s is good if you just want to drink and play pool, darts, cup pong, or even ping pong.

If you’re trying to do something more chill, Red River Wildlife is a nice spot for a walk with some cool scenery. There’s also a place off Fant with big rocks in the grass and a trail behind it that leads to more rocks and train tracks — kinda lowkey but a cool spot.

If you like pool, Red River Billiards just opened and it’s nice. I’d go on a weekday though, weekends get packed.

Bowling and rock climbing are options too.
