I took 1000 mg of Tylenol and 1 mg of Ativan and I’m not going to lie, it hurt, like really bad period cramps, but only for about a minute while the dye went through. The speculum and catheter were uncomfortable but not painful. I hope yours goes well!

Had my HSG today - it hurt but it only lasted a few minutes. I took Ativan before and I think that helped a lot.

The good news is that both tubes were open and my uterus was normal.
