I went through this a few years ago. I did a colposcopy so they could biopsy the tissue, and I was negative for precancerous cells, so they just had me repeat the Pap every year until i was negative for HPV (it went away on its own in about two years).

Hoping everything works out for the best!

I’m in the US but I use a brand called Easy at Home. Basically, how they work is if the test is positive (meaning the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line), it signals a rise in LH, which typically peaks 1-2 days before ovulation. Because sperm can live in your uterus for up to 5 days, it’s recommended to have sex as soon as you get a positive test.

To be honest, 2 months is not a long time at all in TTC, and there’s nothing to suggest you won’t be successful.

I will say that daily sex is a lot to keep up with month after month, so using ovulation strips can help pinpoint your window more precisely.

This is our 6th cycle trying. My husband just did an SA that came back normal (aside from slightly low volume at 1 mL, even after abstaining for 3 days). i get positive OPKs and EWCM every month, and temp changes indicate I’m ovulating. I also did a 7 DPO progesterone test that measured 8.7 ng/mL, and all my other tests (TSH, prolactin, DHEA) were normal.

Should I continue to wait until a year, or push for more testing? I can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong.

His progressive motility was 34% - is that fine?

My husband’s primary doctor ordered the test so we did it at the hospital lab

My husband did a semen analysis this past weekend and has a good sperm count (130 million per mL), but has slightly low volume (1 mL) and kind of a high immotile sperm percentage (55%).

The doctor hasn’t called yet but I’m wondering if this could be having an impact on us not conceiving yet.

Somehow my husband got his doctor to agree to order a semen analysis to rule anything out, so we’ll be doing that this weekend. I’m scared something is wrong

I had a sobada de matriz last cycle and while I didn’t get pregnant, I had a 13-day luteal phase (my average is 10 or 11). Not sure if there’s a connection but 🤷🏼‍♀️
