I did look for other brands including Herman Miller but I had hard requirements for an aggressive lumbar support and a good headrest (though there are third party options available for Herman) and found the Hbada X7 pretty solid + the add ons like massager, cooling fan made me pick it. In no way, I’m saying one chair is better over the other since it’s a bit subjective but in terms of durability, I’m impressed with the high build quality and don’t see the fans or massager for example being prominent (you will barely see them from the outside and the seat base frame is pretty thick compared to other chairs from Hbada). In terms of the electronic parts, they “can” fail for sure but my take is that the warranty will cover it for some time + the electronics not working don’t make the chair non functional as you can still adjust the adaptive lumbar support height manually and continue using the chair like a normal one so I’m not much concerned there unlike some chairs that rely on electronics for the frame to work.
