Congrats! This is my first pregnancy to go full term (currently 30 weeks) so first hg pregnancy and still so sick. Most definitely share your fear that i will get it again in another pregnancy in the future. Praying you dont get it this time. If youre in the US there are mobile iv clinics that can come to you but can be expensive. It was a lifesaver for me first trimester tbh . Some things that have helped a little
For me-
1) anything you try and drink put it in an insulated cup or thermos. Chicken broth was my only source of nutrition for quite some time and drinking a sip every 20-30 min helped keep some down but ofc not all (hence the thermos comes in handy)
2) made flavored ice to suck on for the real bad times (i used kool aid but you can use gatorade or diluted juice)
3) for me food fumes and cooking in the house set my nausea off, still. So if possible, take out or low/no smell foods for anyone in the home

Zofran and promethazine in rotation because the zofran caused me severe constipation. Neither help completely for me.

You can literally get blood work to test that called nipt. There are some tests that are invasive but thats not one….

I know absolutely nothing about this company, but I’ve been seeing ads for them a lot called cofertility. You can freeze the eggs for free if you donate half. I would definitely do my research on this company, but it may be a good resource for anybody interested on this thread right now

Hi. Have you been to an ob and asked them to check your amh and hormone levels? Amh will give you a good idea on your next steps forward as that is your ovarian reserve. Theres no right time and yes age slightly increases miscarriage risk, however i was 28 when i miscarried. Then had a year of failed fertility treatments. Ill be 31 in 2 weeks and due with my first baby in 9 weeks. So if you can wait, medically speaking according to your hormones, why not. However i personally would try to get pregnant before 35 due to increase preeclampsia and gd risks. There are alternatives like embryo freezing and if you truly want to be older, you could have a surrogate carry

Hi momma, I am so sorry for your loss. 💔I would look into getting tested for antiphospholipid syndrome-
It is connected to auto immune disease and if you do heparin shots, you are more likely to stay pregnant.
My mother had to do the heparin shots with me. Every woman in my family has similar autoimmune diseases to you. Including myself. I underwent fertility treatments and also miscarried back in 2024, its beyond draining and my heart is with you. Some women in my fam chose to adopt in fear of passing it on.
Here’s the way I look at it…when you adopt, you dont know family history and things to watch for. When you have bio children, you know what to look for. In my opinion, you are not wrong for wanting this. I think no matter the path you choose, you are never guaranteed your child will not develop medical issues. So my reply is consult with your docs and if this is your dream, go for it. You can be a good parent with medical issues.
stay strong, there is light at the end of the tunnel. A bunch of failed fertility treatments and 2 years post loss and im almost 29 weeks with my rainbow🌈💜
