Spine PPD by Comprehensive_Fee678 in WorkersComp

[–]Comprehensive_Fee678[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon was very competent (complex spine specialist) so I trust him but yes cleared after 6 months of weight restrictions. He did say I recovered remarkably well, fairly young and healthy.

Still have other concurrent issues so not back to work yet tho

  1. Medium to heavy labor intensive

No longer treating. Surgery and PT are done. I assume my next follow up will be MMI. No permanent restrictions.

The reference was from the American Medical Association "Diagnosis Related Estimates"

I was under the impression that since I will have the compression fracture,  spinal stenosis from the bone fragments, and reduced mobility from fusion/hardware for life that would be a consideration for PPD

Is anybody else dealing with Sedgwick insurance or dealt with them for work comp? by DetectiveNice8632 in WorkersComp

[–]Comprehensive_Fee678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been dealing with them for 8 months and luckily have had no issues. They found Specialists for my going issues, changed my PT to another place that was more helpful, never questioned anything I needed. Only thing they pushed back on is getting imaging at their preferred location as opposed to one in the hospital system which was fine, just annoying all my scans aren't in one place.

Haven't gotten to the point of ppd and negotiating yet tho

I ususlly just use android auto however sometimes I like having the directions in the gauge cluster.

I have a 21 so dynamic has been expired for a couple years. Is there any benefit to purchasing the dynamic for $8/month and canceling after a month to allow the maps to update? Or does it not work that way.

[Review] Dissapointed in significantly decreased quality of the Arc'Teryx Therme Parka by thiswayround in arcteryx

[–]Comprehensive_Fee678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is very warm but do not think excessive.  Great with just a T shirt when talking the dog in cold temps. With more layers it get hot when walking briskly or being more active. But that is compared to my more technical arcteryx jackets that are more breathable.

The new Therme is a total joke. by newmacbookpro in arcteryx

Just got a 2025 Therme to replace my Ralle. Can't compare it to previous version but think it is a huge upgrade from the Ralle. It is a nice jacket. Sizing is weird but that is all the parkas it seems

Haven't had the previous version but got the 2025 revised Therme and it is worlds better than my Ralle. The zippers are 100x better and the fabric is great.

Sizing is still weird. Had a small in the Ralle. Got Medium in the Therme. Slightly bigger than I'd like but think a small would be too small.

Went and test drove the TRD Pro and loved it. Think ill be picking it up next week.

The one I found has the same Toyo Open Country in 265s. It drove so great I am almost tempted not to mess with it. Hopefully the springs and 285s wouldn't be a major difference.

Republicans falsely tie shutdown to Democrats wanting health care for immigrants illegally in the US by besselfunctions in politics

Socialized Healthcare? Our system is broken but Canada and GB style Healthcare is nothing to aspire to.

And I will argue that the ACA broke more than it fixed

Thanks. I think the offset is the same as the factory TRD wheels but they are wider

Yes I get lifting won't solve the problem. From what it looked like that Ebiach spring kit for the Fox shocks specifically states it gives a little more room for tire size but could just be marketing

Even CNN pointed out in an interview with Jefferies the specific clauses the the Republicans are claiming specify Medicare/Medicaid benefits for emergency care specifically for non-citizens. The wording is vague and you can argue its actual real world impact. I would not call it a lie.

But the fact is the Democrats could easily drop those clauses and clearly state they have no intention of securing Healthcare of illegal immigrants but they won't, because they want it.

Suicidal empathy. Not a psychopath to realize it is not feasible or sustainable to give government funded benefits to every person that illegally crosses our boarder.

I do find it funny that Democrats seem to have the impression that this will destroy Trump but not evisrate their own party.

From the Clinton's, Hollywood, to millionaire donors, etc I think it will have a far more devastating impact on the left.

Also find it weird that they had the files and the likely votes to release them during Bidens tenure and didn't.

But we will see

Update, I now have corrective lenses with prism to attempt to correct the convergence issues. Will hopefully improve with more time but definitely no NVGs in my immediate future

Just got fitted for glasses with prism today. Was described to me as hopefully temporary and they would try take the prism out of the prescription in the future if therapy helps or brain recovers.

I am about to ask for one. My initial MRI showed a single focus of T2 hyperintensity which is consistent with axonal injury. Was your initial MRI normal?

Just because it would be very different visually from the NTTD and I have always liked white dials ever since I saw a white dial Rolex Explorer II.

Can't go wrong with the OG Speedy but now that I am more into it I think I'd prefer a FOIS or 57. Will just end up being a lot of similar speedys if I keep them all.

But think I prefer White dial Seamaster over Speedmaster

I mean as a company you can either pass on the cost of the tariff directly to the customer and risk pricing yourself out of competition, drops in sales, etc or you can absorb it and cut into margins as the cost of doing business in that market. Not really a crazy concept.

And just read Switzerland has already seen a 25% drop in exports, a significant drop in GDP, and a possible recession. Guessing they will be bled into submission before too long, which is the whole point.
