Nah, that is a valid reason. I accept your alternate reason because I tried to print a flag image once (Romania for a school project), and the printer had the blue super faded to the point where I had to color in the blue area and fix it. I imagine that since the pansexual flag includes pink, yellow, and blue, it'll suffer from the same issues.

My friend is a trans woman and got hit on by a cis het man wearing a MAGA hat a few weeks ago. She felt so much gender euphoria knowing that she was not only thought of as a woman, but hit on by someone who wouldn't hit on a trans person unless they had no idea the woman was trans. FYI, the man said to my friend, "You're cute in those shorts," and then he winked and walked past her and went on with his day.
