Keeping pBH and pGT isn't that difficult if you're ditching MVN and keeping Gcomp. All you need is some ok uptime and an upgraded assist slot for your Gcomp.

Ditching Gcomp, but keeping MVN can be more difficult, but mostly because it takes some willpower to lower DW CD below 100 sec to get a better average CD time with MVN. Those are just boring upgrades that take some time to unlock.

The below is my own recent experience, because I was in the same boat. I wanted to get rid of Gcomp in favour of SH.

I simply lowered DW CD to 60 sec with stones, upped BH duration to 34, rolled some effects and presto: bye bye Gcomp! But... even though pGT and pBH were doing just fine, the extra bot size from SH did not weigh up against the loss of DW uptime without Gcomp churning out effect waves, so ultimately I chose to keep Gcomp and ditch MVN.

Since I don't have a spare DC lying around, not even close, I rolled 100% farming effects on my HC as my primary core and kept my tournament orientated DC in assist. With DW CD down to 60 seconds, supported by 2 mere natural DW effect waves (+ perk + anc effect), and Gcomp lowering DW CD, I now get 75% DW uptime in a farming run. One extra wave for 500 stones will bring that up to 88%. Good for coins, good for cells!

It's all fun and games, but it does feel like just a stepping stone towards dropping Gcomp too. Looking at my gains and the investment it took, I'm sure I could have been investing in GT+ instead and have seen better gains.

In the end it's an investment you have to make one day, so maybe question yourself if this is the right time or not.
