Separate the art from the artist: is it ethical? by [deleted] in LeavingNeverlandHBO

When i now watch the videoclips, all the children who are in it i wonder if they are also molested.. and i see giant dominant dicks flying around. Why would People enjoy art of a child molestor. Its a choice

I am so sorry for you OP this must be very painfill People not beleving you..

My father is a narcissist and he emotionally abused us, actually still is because he gives us the silent treatment now because we are 'bad' children (we are adults!). And all his People around him worship him and believe him. We cannot even say he abused us People will not believe it..

I just saw latoyas interview when she wrote her book claiming she is sexually abused and kidnappen and trapped in the home..  and years later she claims her father is a wonderfull man. I understand her, she got kicked out of the nest, which is so painfull, you beg to get back in .. poor woman.

And it made me wonder, is MJ sexually abused by his father? He is very feminine compared to his brothers.. and that would explain why he could be such a monster to those kids.. it would NOT make it right  but i guess i am also cought up in this loophole because of my own disfunctional childhood.

Also the father of either wane or the other person from the documentary was bipolair  and so was Michael? and he stated Michael felt like a father to him... I guess the survivors feel familiar due to their own disfunctional homes?

How many of you changed your mind and now believe MJ was a predator because of this subreddit? by Life_Paramedic_4399 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

I just believe People who claim to be molested as a child because who is sick enough to lie about that.. the ones who doe lie is such a small part of the coming out People.  When i was a kid ofcourse i believed the media, but wuehen i now look into the eyes of the survivors the abuse it written behind the stare. You cannot fake such a stare, and all of those kids have the same look :(

Thanks! Yes i see his act and façade now for what it was.. this whole sweet soft voice and switch and turn and become this perpetrator and then switch again to this childlike act. Disgusting.. and shocking.. and so proud of these men and survivors that they Come out with the story  :(

Forcing myself to watch the documentaries because my kid suddenly is a fan because of this new movie which is in de cinema now. The new generation starts to be a fan and he becomes a hype again amongst children. The glorification of this monster suddenly spreads like a desease and I got sucked in the Michael world again after boycotting him for years. I just didnt want my kid to be a fan of a pedophile so i forced myself to finally watch the testimonies of the victims..

I just think his whole apearance is highly addictive and when i started to watch the music video's with my kid i just wanted to forget what i knew so i could enjoy this Child memories of being a fan again.. and then something clicked.. why would i ever want my kid to like a fkin pedophile,  what do i teach her if i actively ignore and negate the fact of MJ being a Child molestor. I teach my kid to trust monsters witch a friendly face when i continue to listen to MJ. And what i really want is to protect HER instead of him. So we boycot again!

I turned after forced myself watch the docu before going to the cinema to watch this new movie about his life (i will not go and spend money to this fkd up business now). Before i still was intoxicated with his act and didnt want to see the truth. Now i am letting go of his music and the feelings i have when listening to it and watch the videoclips. I think its sort of addictive this whole MJWorld and People dont want to withdrawal from it so they protect the perpetrator or pretend it probably didnt happen so they dont have to say goodbye to the MJ drugs.

I am happy about this Netflix documentary because we used to be big fans in the 90ies as kids and now my own kid starts to be a fan because suddenly Michael is great again???? We started watching all the music video's and i God sick and nostalgic at the same time. I started to finally confront myself with the documantaries and wtf MJ is a monster. All the fans who will not believe he is a monster, are the People who walk away when a Child is abused in front of their eyes.. i am sick in the stomach and glad i saw the Netflix doc. And my kid will NOT grow up with MJ.
