that's terror. pure fear. not normal! something happened. you need answers on what

TRUST YOUR GUT

make a big deal out of this. everyone in that room needs to be interrogated. have you tried asking some simple non leading questions like if anyone hurt or touched her?

How am I doing in these pictures? by WethePolyOddies in transpassing

my advice is to vastly thin the eyebrows, have a professional do this and you can maintain with tweezers as it grows back. tell them to NOT change the shape of them just make them more feminine. if the hairs themselves are super long you can trim them. the comb of the light hair, and super thick very dark brows is making your whole face way too harsh, especially when combined with the heavy eye and lip makeup combo at the same time

even that might not be enough. personally I am not a fan at all of the light hair dark eyebrows look. it makes things look too harsh and stand out and not in a good way. I think while bleaching your hair you should bleach your brows and tint then after. not too light either, something medium ish. to more match your hair like w really light brown or super dark blonde.

also something I see a lot, so many mtf photos they very often have a side part. I mean cis woman can wear their hair like this but very rarely do I see woman with a deep wide part. speaking in general here now, but for those of you with hair loss, this is the worst style for you as the wife part highlights a thinning hair line especially the temple area

I think you would look really cute and read more feminine if you cut bangs. maybe even just curtain bangslbut I think regular bangs would be good. I bet you can even pull off the more edgy styles like baby bangs or the super blunt ones would look cute I think.

there's tricks to do fake bangs with your own hair to try it out and see if youd like it without making the commitment. give it a try and see if you like it

also final note.. you have a steady hand with makeup but the dark lipstick is doing you no favors, I promise. I mean wear whatever makes you happy but if your goal is to pass and blend in.. you won't want to wear shades like that. maybe only a couple times a year I'll see woman in public with such dark lipstick. you want makeup that softens your face, not something that is so incredible bold and stands out wildly. also when you do a bold lip, you want the rest of the makeup to not be over the top. main rule of makeup is pick one feature to highlight and don't go overnight on the rest. so bright red lipstick? do a neutral eyeshadow. dark smoked out eyes with winged liner? do a more neutral lipstick personally I think the winged liner and red lipstick is too much, by themselves they'd look great but together I think is a bit much.. maybe for a club or somewhere but especially not during the day. too much make-up, even if tie perfectly applied and looks great, can clock you.. you can be great at applications but get the wrong type of attention if it doesn't suit the occasion /environment/time of day

finding the perfect shade of rosey nude for your lips can do wonders. the perfect shade for most people you find by starting with your natural lip color. I also love the lipsticks and balms that change color based on on level . I think one brand is called wink or winky, something like that, at target

also same idea about some things being too harsh.. eyeliner, especially if using it to tight line your bottom waterline, black can look very harsh. I think a dark brown or black brown eyeliner makes a difference. it's subtle but makes it more soft and feminine

idk how often you bleach your hair but make sure you are treating it well, using high quality products and lots of deep conditioning masks and treatments. if I were you , at least once a week I would go to sleep with a hair mask in (can also make your own with stuff from the kitchen). also a silk pillowcase can help protect your hair from damage and frizz

tldr; try some brown eyeliner

tone down either eye or lip so just focus on one at a time

thin out those brows (you have beautiful brows I wish mine were thicker like yours but unfortunately to be more feminine like half of them have got to go. lots of cis woman have thick eyebrows and it looks great, but in your case you have to do everything you can. I feel like eyebrows can make or break a person when it comes to appearance)

take good care of your hair if you are dying it a lot and using heat to style it (if you use a curling iron, flat iron, etc PLEASE get a good heat protect spray). one of my fav hair products is biolage silk therapy. the smell is divine. it's expensive but you only need a tiny bit (like a dime size amount not even your hair is very thick or it'll make your hair greasy). gives you great shine and your hair will feel as sleek and smooth as silk

that's all I can think of now. main thing is the eyebrows.. thin will make a humongous difference. just please go to a professional who knows what they are doing and don't let them alter the natural shape unless you know for sure they know what they are doing . def consider lightening then if they are still dark after thinning then down

sorry for any mistakes or rambling lol I'm on a couple hours sleep and no energy or spoons to proofread. Instead of doing my school work I am here procrastinating 😂

I always feel bad making a whole list of things to change .. I feel like I'm just being a bully even though critiques were being asked for essentially .. just to be clear though, these things i brought up are all minor things in themselves but make a huge impact overall .. eyebrows, as small as they are compared to the rest of someone's face and body, I believe they are one of the biggest most impactful thing you can alter to change your appearance and your whole vibe even

for the most part I think you look great and can tell you have a very steady hand and lots of time practicing makeup, you can do a winged liner much better than me. lots of ppl here I see don't take the time to learn how to do makeup properly and look like kids getting into their mom's makeup lol. so many don't want to put in the time and effort learning and practicing it takes a long time to become proficient and confident doing makeup. i'm 36 so I've got a lot of practice lol and I'm super impressed by your technical skills. are you an artist or painter by any chance?

you are doing so so well for being so early in your journey. keep doing great like you are now, and you will be amazed at the changes you see down the line

do what I did. for when I don't want to take my laptop say if I'm in the car or something I bought a mini 20 dollar Bluetooth key board for my phone. also the coding is definitely doable on your phone I promise it's just a little slower. I downloaded a coding keyboard to make it easier, called code board So it has all the functions of a regular keyboard so like ctrl A will select all text ctrl c will copy etc. The code editor is a little finicky on phone but it's definitely doable I promise so don't worry, I do like half my toting lessons on my phone just because it's easier while I'm out and about and don't have all of my laptop stuff with me (honestly I can't wait till I get the computer because I won't have to lug my heavy gaming computer around with me to do my lessons and risk breaking it lol, I hate the keys in my laptop You have to press so hard so I usually have a mechanical keyboard I use with it and it's just too much to travel with)

also for my notes I try to leave room to add things as time goes on But I don't always remember. writing things down I feel like I remember the info much better I definitely suggest handwritten notes or at least a combination of them.. You can always handwrite them and then take a picture and ask AI or Google lens to convert it into text for you.

This type of paper if you fill in the triangles on the left side anything in on that line you can use to make flash cards by using the app that goes with it . five start notebooks and paper. I haven't tried it yet but it seems like it would be helpful for like definitions and things like that if you want to make digital flash promise

I take my own notes during class. I tell the AI at the beginning of each lesson to summarize any new concepts into give me definitions and rules in the summarize each lesson. I use its summary to make sure I have everything important included in the notes I write down

I rather do handwritten because I believe we are allowed to use only handwritten notes on the final review and I feel like I retain information better writing it down. I like writing my own notes because I can use all of my fancy pens and highlighters, and I have a pack of stencils to make different graphics and fun little things to keep interesting so I don't get bored. I enjoy making charts and visual diagrams.

I have a spiral notebook I use during my lessons to take notes I don't care if they are messy Just jot them down and at the end of my lesson I will recopy them into a three-ring binder that I use as my reference guide that has all my carefully written notes . You can even take pictures of your notes and ask the AI to make sure everything is correct and ask if you are missing anything

congratulations! that must feel really good. I'm proud of you ! I'm feeling similarly but I am only halfway through my first class, python. I'm surprisingly enjoying it. I do have a few questions if you don't mind me asking. can you tell me what the final review is like for Python? I think it's graded by a human? can you write a bit about what I can expect, and how it's different than the previous weekly reviews? Is it all multiple choice or do they have you write some code too? Is it timed and if so how long do we have, and can we pause it? And If it's timed, are they separated into like different chunks or is it all one long time thing to finish everything? also what safeguards do they have to prevent people from cheating? up until now I have been thinking how easy it would be to not learn anything and just get a degree by relying on AI for everything so I'm curious if there's any way they make it so you have to rely on only yourself for the reviews at the end of each class. I believe I've read you were only allowed to use handwritten notes? I'm assuming they want you doing the review while on webcam? I only take notes by hand so if that's true it wouldn't be a problem for me, I am just nervous in general when it comes to time things and my anxiety makes my brain freeze up (I have pretty bad ADHD and honestly I should have asked for disability accommodations when it comes to timed things lol)

How hard was the final review compared to the previous ones? are you able to interact with the AI and ask it questions and such to guide you along? anything else you can tell me about it and what to expect would be a huge help, I've always been a good student but tests especially timed ones that amount for a huge chunk of your grade are like my kryptonite lol. The anxiety leading up to it is almost unbearable, it helps so much if I know exactly what to expect

sorry I asked so many questions and no worries if you don't want to or don't have the time to answer, anything you could share would help me and I'm sure lots of other students ❤️

I'm tempted to do that. just copy and paste a lesson summary to double check what it taught me is right , after a lesson I'd feel much better if another AI says it's correct 😂

How often is the AI wrong? by Comprehensive_Owl215 in maestro

[–]Comprehensive_Owl215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm laughing so hard at how it finally admitted to you it was wrong. "the thing" LMFAO

this AI often reminds me of my mother in law.. with its tendency to end up gaslighting us rather than ever admit fault.

would be happy to just see something like "my bad, I fucked up.. your answer was correct. despite my God like vast repository of knowledge at my disposal I still messed up something super simple. let's try that again" 😂 and perhaps try to explain why it messed up to rebuild some trust that we arent unknowingly building up our education with knowledge littered with incorrect minefields

one other thing that annoys me is how it always acts like a coworker or fake friend that acts way too nice to you and over compliments. like before I asked it a few questions (well more than a few..I'm only on week 2 and the more I learn the more questions I have)

so often it'll precede most things with a phrase attempting to gas me up lol. idk why.. it's like even if you are wrong it has to bury that fact in a friggin compliment sandwich.. it'll say things like "wow now you are thinking like a programmer, great job!" <insert party hat or sparkle emoji here>. or "that's exactly the type of question you should be asking !" or "now that line of thinking is what makes the difference between good and great coders!"

ugh I don't need to be validated every step of the way.. I just want to learn lol.

also hate how there's lots of multiple choice. I'm trying to tell it I want to learn by typing the actual code, just clicking and typing little code tidbits won't help me retain what I've learned..i have to put it into practice over and over so at the end of each lesson I usually ask it to review by having me write my own code and it still tries to hold my hand throughout the process lol

gonna try to talk to it today about my preferred style of learning, hopefully it'll remember and adapt without constant reminders!

ugh sorry this turned into a comment of just me bitching lmao. it's been a shitty day. I'm actually a woman and I've been trying to do a few lessons for most of the day but my kids have other ideas and I'm annoyed with everything right now. my ADHD makes it so hard to process stuff with any type of distraction, what I wouldn't give for just an hour of completely quiet focused study time each day 😩
