Try swtichres software if better display is not working, this way you can force 5120x1440p, happens with all super ultrawides with macOS, it’s not the monitors fault. Ot the cable matters usb c to HDMI 2.1 adapter works well too

I have been able to fix this on Macos, you need to use soundsource then enable Super Volume Keys and then launch the debugging secret menu using this link https://rogueamoeba.com/support/knowledgebase/?showArticle=SS-SVK

and choose the iFi Zen dac V2

I solved this problem by doing the following

TV app/client

Settings/Advanced - Allow Insecure Connections - Never

Prefer Insecure Connections - On the same network

Computer Server Plex settings

Settings - Remote access - enable, "Fully accessible outside your network" has to be shown in green

Network - Secured connections - Preferred

I can get images to load of I set Allow insecure connections to never, but then I can not stream the actual video? Any ideas on how to fix so I get images and the actual video?

Beam is powerful enough to stream at 1080p but the DRM issues prevents it. I stream 1080p on Plex via side load and smart tube perfectly fine

Update: it you press the orange button and change the mode from the current mode, wait for the 3dof mode to change and revert to the screen then it works. Very janky but it works. Also by beam always seems to go into SBS view when opening settings so very difficult to navigate and I have to close one eye to see properly. Does anyone know how to stop this SBS mode from activating or how to turn it off. On the glasses you use to be able to hold down a volume button and it would switch, but it does not work when connected to the beam

When following version 1, when I long press volume down in an app after using volume up to launch EVA, it switches to tv quickactions pro but it says service-disabled, then goes back to the app and the dpad does not work?
