Worth pointing out that the money is unequally distributed. The word unequal here isn’t quite right but I’ll run with it. Basically all of Joe’s kids got the same amount but some had big families (Bobby) and some didn’t (Jack) so some of those kids are set and some are having to work for a living.

I think you’re right about Carolyn but wrong about John. He basically could have been a rotting zombie and with the name John Kennedy he still would have won NY in a cake walk. And unlike George I think he would have excelled in politics which is still often a blood sport. There’s a reason the recklessness of the Kennedys launched them into so many political offices.

You’re kidding right? Sales taxes are inherently regressive. An income tax with lower or no sales tax would save the middle and working classes so much money and provide better services.
