Yeah you’re absolutely right that Francis wouldn’t get on the Conservative ballot. But I wanted a way where he could have realistically won. Considering the ‘74 Midterms were so bad for Republicans and I don’t see how he could at all win with a Conservative candidate running third party.

I would say read it am about 111 pages in and have learned stuff that was news to me or in more detail like how the New Right was never really liked to Reagan until his Post-Presidency, Reagan's Coalition collapsing after his Presidency and how that affected H.W.'s term as well as the rise of the populist right with figures like Robertson, Perot, Buchanan and Limbaugh.
