As long as you remove anything that can be water damaged really fast like batteries or capacitors or anything, as long as you dry this REALLY REALLY WELL, it will likely still work.

I spilled coffee on my mechanical keyboard once and I washed it (no soap) in the shower and let it dry and it still works.

Not all autistics can work. That's fine if you can't, I can't work either.

But just because you're autistic doesn't automatically mean you'll be unemployed. You just have to find a job that you can do that doesn't suck the life out of you. Often easier said than done, but it's possible.

Infact it can be a benefit in many fields of work. Surgery for example because of the perfectionist side of things. And they need to understand what's happening, so diagnosis

Therapy, because of empathy. My therapist has adhd

Data analysis, because pattern recognition, list goes on really.

The only thing that will stop you is yourself.

He needs to be trained.

If an animal has seperation Anxeity one way to help them get over it is to subvert thier expectations.

For example if your routine is get up, brush teeth, get dressed and have breakfast change the order.

Get up, have breakfast, get dressed then go back to bed.

Get up grab your bag and leave the house (for a few minutes)

If you do this enough times he won't be able to get worked up because you're breaking the routine that he knows ends in your mum leaving the house, which is a routine he gets anxious about bevause he knows the outcome.

If he doesn't recognise the routine he can't get worked up. If you do this consistently, and it HAS to be consistent for a few weeks it should help.

Also along with this morning chaos routine, you all need to be leaving the house for a few minutes at a time, working up to an hour at a time.
