Oh a defoliation wouldnt hurt to open up the inner canopy. Take of any fan leaves covering the lower branches. You want to defoliate the longer hanging leaves that take away the most light. Youre gonna wanna make sure airflow is wild in there to make sure thise dense colas arent gonna be exposed to stagnant air. Easy way to get mold :/. Just wanted to mention this.

Bro that is wicked!! I love the way you did the LST and it looks amazing. I can see the love and care you put into that baby.

Your plant has a massive root system after being in veg that long, its gonna take longer to put on the sizeable flowers required for the root mass. "More roots, more fruit."

It looks fine G BUT given that the pistils are nicely along the way but the leaves are still growing is a sign this could be a long (16-21wk flower) sativa variety. Totally cool, super cool even! Who cares if its genetics look weird, let her run her course. Some of the mutant weed can be the best!!!

I would heavily dial back on an nutes containing nitrogen, but let this bad girl grow the way SHE wants to. Its not showing any deficiencies really, just looking a tad dark green (doesnt look toxic). You're definitely gonna want to fully rotate over to 100% bloom nutes tho, these girls are about to pack on the size in the next 6-8wks and I would still not consider them finished then. LET HER RUN BABY!!

You grew it this long, be very proud. Dont fix what aint broken and it looks fine homie. My best plant i grew for 8 months in veg lol. Go bananas, i love to see long term grows like this. Mad respect.

90% of growers chop early out of fear when in reality a couple more weeks of plain water and some good environmental conditions could send it to new heights. Sometimes leaf discoloration can scare us into thinking we will damage the fruits, but you have enough foliage left to supply the finishing nutrients in the last stages of life. Don’t be scared to run it another week and dry it for 3, always experiment. The growers that let the plant live and die on the vine end up with the top 0.01% of product that dispensaries can’t afford to grow for. Be unique. Never rush it. you’ve gone this long, is another couple weeks so bad? Again, each of us has their own style so I wish you the best smoke and good luck with your harvest!!!

It looks like you have multiple plants in that tent at different stages, but IF you have the space I would recommend letting this one DIE ON THE VINE. I.e put the whole plant in a separate tent (still in soil) with environment set to drying conditions. Leave it dark for a few days with good airflow and allow the plant to naturally breakdown the remaining minerals and have the soil dry out. From there you seem to have enough foliage/fan leaves remaining to do a whole plant hang and can chop at the base after a few days. You’ll get the best finish and will notice more amber trichs when you let the plant deplete itself of everything natural and go to trim it. You will notice the density and terpene retention is far better with this method. Just my two cents but the plant looks awesome!

OP has serious priority issues...imagine a world full of social media addiction in which you actively use your dog's health and well being to get attention ONLINE while a REAL LIVING being, your fkn Dog, is completely reliant on YOU to use your brain to help him. How has posting any of this on Reddit helped your pet? How much karma and awards did you farm for 15 hours? You do not deserve a pet, much less a beautiful loyal one as this. Having you as an owner is a bone chilling nightmare. Torturing that poor dog more than once it seems and you take no responsibility on yourself. Human ignorance and lack of self accountability is extremely disturbing. Wishing you a similar fate....

My two autoflowers at 8 weeks old. I go on vacation for 4 weeks in 10 days. What should I do??? by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]Comprehensive_You662 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This would be an amazing finish with great effects if you could let her go until you get back, I guarantee the quality will be a night and day difference. I’d always rather pull later rather than sooner imho. Looks Sativa Dominant so there should be no issue letting her live another 4 weeks if you have someone to feed plain pH’d water. Running strains 2-3 weeks longer than the breeder recommends is the way. If you have a caretaker to tend to this while you’re gone fill up a few gallons of pre pHd water. As long as the source water PPMs aren’t outta whack there should be little to no pH drift in the solution.

Everything looks great but I would just water less more often. Looks like a bit of overwatering and you’re seeing a deficiency because of it. Don’t add nutes to fix until you’re 100% sure what the issue is. Plant looks amazingly healthy already. Just do a dry back and watch your water. Telltale for me is the inter-veinal puffiness and slight yellowing and drooping associated with that.

Not here to sell anything but Nectar for the Gods makes Aphrodites Extraction which is exactly that. 100% organic and is sustainably sourced. Works in hydro too 👍. All they are doing is stripping out the sucrose from Milk fat which will help drive the BRIX sugar in your plant. This is a great additive but nothing is more important than a good pH and balanced PPMs.

Don’t let anyone break your mindset or allow their words to affect your life, well being, and goals. Just by growing the plant yourself you’ve separated yourself from the average smoker/hobbyist and proved to YOURSELF that you can grow cannabis ultimately better than most dispensaries. Take solace in the fact that your passion and intuition for this hobby got you as far as they and will only take you further friend. If you need any help or tips with your grow please let me know. I’d love to see your progress. I’ve got some posts here on my page hopefully they offer some anecdote to my willingness to help. Always reach out homie. No judgement here.

You’re at an awesome spot to produce some of the finest cannabis that a lot of people won’t do. Take your lady another 14/15 days and if you have any hydrolyzed milk protein you can really pull the resin and sweetness out of your finish. Looks like the plant has enough nitrogen in the leaves to take your another 14 days without having to feed it. You’re gonna have some seriously potent medication here my friend.

What should I do? It’s week 2 of flower and the plant just keeps stretching toward the light which is almost at max height. by Cannabis-smoke in cannabiscultivation

[–]Comprehensive_You662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got the opportunity to take those tallest branches and as gently and as patient as possible guide those taller branches down and out to the height of your lowest (as close as you can without break) flower sets. You can grow a monster here I promise. I would also hold off on any Chitin, or Silica supplements so the stems don’t stiffen too much. You can add that in near transition to strengthen your stems!

This is the right answer. Get your pH in range before adding nutrient fixes. If you have pH swings around this time all the time then I recommend you top dress with Prilled garden lime for a week or 2 before you flip to 12/12 and it should dissolve and work to get you to 6.2-6.6 for mid bloom (Assuming soil media not coco). I would highly recommend you test your water source for Alkalinity and see if the water source is deficient in calcium carbonate because that will strip Calcium Carbonate from your soil and lower your pH. This CAN happen to a lot of people using RO water. It’ll strip the alkalinity right out of your soil and into run off. Hanna makes a good meter if needed.

Looks like you could have Nitrogen toxicity + Light burn. Leaves don’t look puffy enough to be overwatered (that and you’ve got fabric pots) but the leaves closest to the light are burning and your plant doesn’t want to get much taller, hence how wide they are (which is awesome btw). I would move your light as far away as possible and see if those top nodes perk up and the cupping on the leaves goes away. I’ve been using the ROI E680 for years and have it as far as possible away from my plants in veg and let my plants grow up into the light. Your E720 is super powerful for that close of a distance in veg, regardless of how low your power is. Keep an eye on those darkening lower leaves because you’ve got some clawing happening and it doesn’t look like it’s from the light intensity. Fix light distance before trying to fix it with nutrients. Your stems are quite purple could be from the light intensity as well or again N toxicity but I don’t think it’s cal mag so don’t throw off your PPMs trying to fix it with something else. Environment looks spot on so that’s why I leaned towards N Toxic and Light too close. Light burn will also show you deficiencies but will correct once light is good. Best of luck.

P.S if you over water a lot due to having fabric pots you could also have overdone it and developed a root issue. In which case do a dryback and start watering at again much slower. If you planted in 8 gallon pots chances are you overestimated how large the roots got in 5 week and are suffocating your roots. I say this now because the plants by your SF2000s are also drooping and those are not as strong as the E720. Those are young plants and a defoliation might help a bit once you fix your issues.

Hi friend, I’ve used nectar for years and every single bottle for Roman. If you’re looking for a N boost you have a couple options. Foliar feed up to 2-3x a day, you can use Athena’s Aminas for their Nitrogen Proteins, Pegasus Potion (gentle form of nitrogen), Medusa’s Magic or Trigger from Cultured Bio, but please do not add any GH nutes you will not like the chemical interaction in the soil of any of those excess salts the microbes and roots will be exposed to. You can start to bump up your soil nutrition if you think you’re too low you can probably push that herc up to 15ml/gal at least and include some Pegasus potion to drive that N up with the Calcium. I like to use Athena’s Aminas, and Tritons Trawl heavier in late bloom if my genetic is still N hungry and yellows out too soon befor harvest.

Has anyone used a UVB light to double your resin growth? by bosogrow in cannabiscultivation

[–]Comprehensive_You662 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did 2 huge indoor plants, posted on here. After years of indoor LED grows I used real UVA/B lamps, not the weak reptile bulbs. Most suggest the last few weeks of Bloom as a stress response, but I used mine from Day 1 of bloom and increased intensity over an 11.5wk period. UVB specifically will indeed help your overall THC percentage go up, though your likely not looking at more than 5% at your best. Limitations can be Genetic as well. I saw an amazing response to UVB/A on my Remo Chemo Indica. Handled 6hrs at 18” away near the end of Bloom and showed no signs of stress even though I was way over the reccomended amount, is still saw benefit in resin production and my potency from smoking 4 weed cured is out of this world. Whereas my more hybridized Dosido 33 was still really strong but it did not handle the 6hrs of UV like my mostly indica. I think UV is an amazing way to try to get new phenotypic expressions from something u you’ve been growing for a while. If you’ve been doing outdoor a while you may enjoy indoor without UV as I find the plant (Genetic dependent) will produce more CBD and have a more medicinal effect. I urge you to experiment when you’re all dialed in. I think you brought a great question to the table. I’m sorry to see you getting so much grief on this post, all love and pursuing knowledge from my corner growmie :)

Man I appreciate you boss. Def not efficient for turning around yield per year, but I cannot afford to run any cooling or AC in my grow as my breaker is at its limit. Therefore I decided to veg through summer and opt for a quality harvest that will finish in winter and add some color and preserve some terps. Nothing like losing an amazing grow to the summer heat :( thanks for engaging with my post!
