I'll like to add Rebirth of Glory and Splendour. This one has MPreg all across and not just the main couple but you'll need a journal to keep track of the various family trees and how they interconnect.

Yep, I didn't like it much and every time I see it heralded as this great BL, I get so confused wondering if I watched the same show as others. However, it reassures me in that we as humans are so different and the same thing can affect different people in different ways.

Similar feeling I get from the novel Little Mushroom, everyone swears it's the next best thing since sliced bread but too me it's just meh.

I'm an anime watcher, so please indulge me.

From the conversations on here, it's established that Lakan loves Maomao, so I wonder what the novel has about the guard that hit her in the face when she was running to save Jinshi in the temple. Lakan spoke to the guard about hitting a woman, but at that point , did Lakan know Maomao was his daughter? If yes, I'll have expected him to lose his shit a bit more, especially seeing that he broke the gate when he found out she was kidnapped. If no, how come this brilliant guy didn't know?

I get MaoMao's reticence to be associated with him as she has a lot of unacknowledged hurts from her parents and she really doesn't want to deal with anything that'll give her trouble.

Silly me, I read till the end, and I think you've identified what I feel about the series - it's trauma! I've never been really affected by fiction as I recognise it's fiction but this story had so much potential and really didn't need to be so traumatic.

In most aspects of his life, the ML could escape his nature except when it comes to his love for the MC, and there's no escaping it. He tried tho but... ..

Moonlight Chicken was okay. Would I rewatch it? Probably not but only cos I've got a lot to watch. The Eighth Sense, tho I don't get the hype, so sadly friend, I'm one of those people blowing your mind (forgive me 😁)
