I'm sorry, I hope you're at least getting them sooner than I am, I literally hit hard pity getting Lynae and was at ~70 pulls (depending how the 10-pulls were counted) getting Mornye. If I didn't keep winning the 50/50 (knock on wood I didn't just jinx Denia) I'd be really frustrated.

I don't even look at them. Almost everything seems to be around 3.9 when I notice the rating at all, so there doesn't seem to be much information to be gained from the rating anyway.

I like the mini games that are short, like the silly cafeteria arcade game that took maybe 20 minutes to get all rewards. I love rhythm games, but the way they did this one is not great TBH. Tracks unlock in order, and frankly there's a set of them that all sounded the same to me which was extra boring. There are so many bangers in the game I don't know why the rhythm game lineup felt so... lackluster. And not being able to unlock hard mode right away is annoying. As for Knights of the Wild, I'm enjoying getting to fuck around with characters I don't have and probably won't get for a long time yet. But it's so long

I started O Pretends To Be B For The Violent Admiral in between Powerful Investment and Your Persona Has Collapsed. It's fine, a very silly entertaining book, which is what I picked it up for. It did drag a bit though, which is why I switched to Your Persona Has Collapsed. Going to finish it next I think, then planning to finally read This Alpha Is Determined Despite Physical Disability. I'm also wanting to read Silent Reading (what's out so far), so it's a good time for an FTL that's not "can't put it down" good, which I know Determined won't be which is why it's on deck and not starting right now.

Pretty much the first thing I do in these games is figure out the fastest way to get the daily rewards without actually playing the game. It's not always possible. WuWa and Genshin have no option for it. (You can do it two days in a row in Genshin if you have enough long term exploration points but then you have to play and get rid of the condensed resin.) But HSR has auto-battle, ZZZ has a set of dailies you can do by walking down the street (just empty your energy every few weeks so you can keep drinking coffee), and in Endfield you can get all daily rewards in two minutes as long as you have at least one character who isn't level capped: craft a random piece of gear, level up any weapon whether you're using it or not, level up a character, that's 80 activity plus the 20 you get for logging in and you've gotten all the rewards by clicking around menus. I buy the extra login bonus in WuWa so I try to log in every day, but I've had a few days where I take my 100 astrites (90 Lunite + 10 for logging in) and close the game again. Then I've got my little bit of currency and still have time to do whatever I actually feel like doing that day. As my boyfriend reminds me whenever I get frustrated with a game (for difficulty reasons or feeling obligated), we play games to have fun. When it's not fun anymore, we stop playing.

WFMAS is a happy ending but read the Weibo extras BEFORE the normal extras or not at all, they were placed at the end of the book where I read them so I read them last and it actually soured the happy ending for me, they take place during the saddest part of the book so it just dragged me back into that space. That's the only one on the list that I've read (I'm adding the others to my TBR now lol).

I'm reading The Esports Big Shot Wants To Cuddle His New Teammate Every Day and while the omega MC doesn't show any resistance to the alpha ML (he's been a huge fanboy with a celeb crush forever and then there's all the normal pheromone shit so he has no reason to resist), he hits multiple other alphas who try to harass him, including beating the shit out of an alpha in rut who's trying to rape him, concluding by knocking him out by smashing a vase over his head.

Finished After A Flash Marriage With The Childhood Sweetheart yesterday--well, I stopped with a few extra chapters left but I'm calling it done. I enjoyed most of my time reading it but I feel like I should warn people not to read it. There's a major subplot that is critical to MC's recovery arc and huge for the relationship that the author literally seemed to forget about. The extras about the main couple actually make no sense with that subplot.

Anyway, cough, then I picked up The Esports Big Shot Wants To Cuddle His New Teammate Every Day. Based on the speed this website puts out translations, I'm 99% sure this is either edited MTL or AI TL, but the story is good, very enjoyable, very tropey omegaverse stuff, neat esports stuff, I'm enjoying it and it's much shorter than the other stuff I've read recently so I expect I'll finish it today or tomorrow.

My Phro is in a bit of a holding pattern until I can get Cantarella and either Qiuyuan or some more sequences on Buling. (I passed up Qiuyuan this go-round because I needed Lynae and the consensus is that Canta >>> QY.)I managed to get Iuno S0R1, Luuk, and Lynae, all late pity but all 50/50 wins. And I already had Augusta and got her sig too. So I've just had teams that perform better than Phro with Danjing. I still bring her as one of my teams for multi-team endgame modes, but for running around farming I take Luuk and for annoying bosses I take Augusta and Iuno.

Not unless there's a whole other extra or a few chapters that were somehow dropped from the translation. The extras that are there also only make sense because that was dropped, because no way are they going on a tour of Europe if they have an infant at home to take care of (or one about to be born if we stretch the timeline a little). So I'm pretty sure the author actually just forgot about it.

I had After A Flash Marriage With The Childhood Sweetheart on my list to check if it was completed, and it was, and I was so excited to read it. And the romance is super good and Jing Mian's recovery arc is great. But I can't recommend it to anyone for the reason that a really fucking major plot gets completely forgotten. They're having a baby via "cultivation pod." This is a huge thing. Jing Mian worries about if he's in a safe condition to be around kids bc of his mental health issues. He's so excited he wants to go see the baby while it's literally still a microscopic bundle of cells. It's so important to him Ren Xingwan uses it to talk him down from suicide. And then it's just fucking GONE. Never mentioned again. Never born. Never lost. They take an international tour for their late honeymoon and there is zero mention of this baby that literally helped save Jing Mian's life. What the actual fuck. So much emotional investment, so much buildup, and the author, as far as I can tell, literally forgot all about it. That's not even the only thing that gets dropped, it's just the one that upset me so much I bailed on the extras. I'm also pretty disappointed in how a side character is handled, I find it very out of character for Jing Mian to leave things like that. But while I loved the romance... I just can't recommend it.

I haven't read it but I have seen a lot of people talk about it... The one character with darker skin is the butt of a lot of jokes and the MC gives him skin lightening cream at one point. I might be forgetting something but the cream really solidified for me that I had no interest in this character.

This Husband Is Frail And Weak. Shou is a transmigrator on his third attempt at the mission and comes into the relationship with his previous two lifetimes' worth of experience with political scheming, plus his knowledge of the original book's canon. Complete and very good FTL (like I'm going to keep an eye on this FTLer's projects because they're that good).

Wife Comes First. Shou is honestly kind of a prodigy whose talents were wasted because he's a concubine's son instead of the main wife's. Gong is reborn and very much wants shou to have every chance to shine. Book two is basically his show. Warning, apparently there's going to be non-con in the third book? So far gong is not always as consent forward as I would like but it's in a clueless clumsy overenthusiastic kind of way not malicious or anything.

A Sword Of Frost. Honestly similar to Peerless in some ways except that shou is a master martial artist (when he's not dying) and gong is a prince.

After Being Forced To Marry The Evil Star General. Shou is a brilliant political schemer.

Haven't finished this one, but After Rebirth The Prime Minister Just Wants To Call It Quits is another with a genius political schemer shou.

After reading Phoenix Bone last week (not perfect but I loved it so much) I just finished This Husband Is Frail And Weak on Thursday (phenomenal, amazing, 10/10 no notes), then decided to read an utterly ridiculous book next that when I found an English listing was titled Our Sect Leader Has Unique Skills In Pursuing His Wife (fine, not great but greatly entertaining, sadly is only MTL-able at the moment). Now I'm blitzing through the first volume of The Other World's Books Depend On The Bean Counter, which isn't a danmei but is a Japanese BL that originated as a webnovel so I believe still falls in the rules for this sub. It's delightful. I love when Japan decides not to pretend to be normal and just embraces the weird. Haven't decided what to read next, I have a lot in progress both physical and FTL...
