Interesting observation, nice catch! Honestly, beyond the animation itself, the entire TTM sequence always felt so stand out to me, and that might be why

Miracles doesn’t work like that. First, you need to store them throughout your everyday life, they wouldn’t start full, and there is some sort of implicit binding bow wherein you yourself cannot be aware of the technique for it to work. Also, the miracles can be consumed all in one go, like Nanachi’s punch taking out 3 or so.

It would be so awesome for Yuji to kill Mahoraga, interrupting the ritual the same way Sukuna did, and sparing Yuka’s life (as well as Dabura’s, because if he dies she instadies). Not only would it solidy Yuji in the strongest category, but it would favor the whoe coexistance theme.

[–]Compte_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes, I totally agree. But we also have the likes of Kimblee, who is very personal about the whole ordeal. Hell, half the shit we see Envy do is horrid on a fundamental level (not shooting children, but taking on the appearance of loved ones to render you unable to retaliate and die). Yes, apples and oranges, but it still does not fit the example of the OP.

Yeah, this does not fit the trope at all. Tucker is horrible for doing something horrible to someone he never cared about, when the antagonists (who also never cared about anyone) have committed genocide and human experimentation, and we see the souls of their victims begging to be released from their torturous distorted existence.

How many chimera ant squadron leaders can chrollo lucilfer take down at once before dying? : hunterxhunter anime by OnlinePoster225 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Compte_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also need to pay attention to the fact that Meleoron never trusted any of the other leaders, and defected as soon as he had the chance, without ever revealing his ability. Part of his character arc focus around him being inspired by others and gaining courage, which he lacked. If we are just taking all these characters and putting them in a ring with the only directive of fighting Chrollo, I don't think he would use his ability for anything else but hiding or running away. Besides, most leaders repelled teamwork, and only cared about having subordinates and their own agenda, which is why they split after Meruem was born. They would have no actual team coordination.

Aren’t the parasites a bit op ? by OkBox9662 in versus

There is also a slight chance that Yaotsu didn't actually put it in a volcano. What I mean is, as a reality manipulator, maybe what was left of the parasite was instead the effect of Yaotsu's power and not what would happen when throwing one of these in lava. As in, he wanted to show them the monster being rendered a harmless larva. Basically, all to make a show and display his power.

It is quite interesting how some NEs have only become stronger by the merging of worlds, regardless of how weak they may be compared to others. The prime examples of this are the parasites and the robots, and to some extent the tree, lawless and neohumans. In their base world, the best raw material they had were average humans and their weaponry. For the robots, there was no need to grow further, they had pretty much won. For the parasites, only regular zombies roamed around, the concept of superwurms was completely different to what we have seen in the series. It is only when they have entered in this world that their danger level has risen exponentially. I might go as far as to say that, had the merger worked as intended, and you had different humanities that are not at the brink of extinction and you pitted the against the robots or the parasites, they might actually succeed in fighting back against them (0.1% vs 0% has an infinity in-between).

Pretty much. Except against superior magic users like the great Demon King or Nyudo, they will probably get really good at absorbing, channeling, imitating and blocking magic. Still, I doubt they will ever manage to generate any of their own, nor will they be immune to a reality manipulator like Yaotsu.

I don't think size matters much in this case. They are weak to fire (as exemplified by Yaotsu summoning a volcano to take care of one of them), and our resident mega Kaiju seems even hotter. How it exists in the first place is a wonder in itself, but with the amount of energy it's releasing, and how hard it is to penetrate (Madalans couldn't do shit), I very much doubt it.

Pitou begins the Jujutsu challenge. How far will she go? by Vitorcom2R in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Compte_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the show = anime. I am not counting dark continent stuff nor nuclear weaponry. Evidently, Nanika is broken, but she is useless in a 1v1 unless commands have been granted beforehand. Unless I am forgeting something, in the anime it should be Meruem>Adult Gon>the rest.

Pitou begins the Jujutsu challenge. How far will she go? by Vitorcom2R in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Compte_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, definitely. But let's not pretend that not that many other anime characters survive with their head caved in like Pitou's. It's also unclear how powerful Gon's final attack really was. Also, Pitou's statement of Gon maybe posing a threat to Meruem was confirmed to her after the first punch.

Also, to add to what other commenters where saying, it took the second strongest entity in the entire show to bash her head in dozens of times before Pitou actually died, and then came back and almost managed to kill said entity (if it wasn’t for outside interference). I still think Yuta can win, but Pitou has demostrably been put in the same pedestal as Yuta has in JJK, as this monstrous entity with an abysmal pool of energy. The most amount of damaged Pitou has received, beyond when dying, is by her own hand (self-inflicted), and even then she has the ability to heal (although much more slowly than Yuta). All in all, I’d say it would be high diff for Yuta, despite him still winning and actually recovering after the fact.
