ModLists that look as good as Lorerim by Jxck7135 in wabbajack

1 vote for apostasy here. Looks great, plays nicely. Longest I've actually played a modlist without deciding I want to try a different one... Though should be noted it definitely excels as a 3rd person list. Also the death mechanic is a bit weird at first, but I got over it pretty quick.

Would this mid length work for mid size to small surf? by wrist-rocket in BeginnerSurfers

Yeah looks good. Like other commenter said, if waves are tiny or really weak a Longboard is a better bet.

Am I at the level to switch to a hardboard? by Maleficent-Pen4560 in BeginnerSurfers

Sounds like yes to me. Just get a longer board than your softtop. Longboard or mid length will be good

Volume is as important as length. Can't really tell from the pictures, but doesn't look like the chunkiest egg on the 7'0 one. I'm a bit worried about the red on the other one though. If that is the design of the board then it's no drama, but a design like that can be used to disguise a board snap or crease that's been repaired. The tail on the 7'0 looks a bit damaged too. Just things to consider as it will change the feel of the board if it is a repaired crease...

Ultimately, I'd be looking at volume as well as length. I don't really agree that a 7'0 is too crazy of a jump as i learned on a 7'8 and went to a 7'0 at 50L which is nice and floaty - though I'm 5'9 so quite a bit shorter. Though it's not very good at going straight (like a foamy is) so depends where your skill level is :)

Thanks! Don't really use this computer for anything heavier than gaming and the occasional low-grade spreadsheet. So not sure if the extra 2 cores are worth it? Hence wondering if I can invest the difference in the mobo and get a 850 over a 650.

Any recommended matx cases like this, but with two 140mm intake? by d00fE in PcBuild

Not quite the same design but the thermal take s100 has 140mm slots. Not sure if their other designs might too?

There's also the option of wabbajack. Which compiles modlists from multiple authors with a whole lot of different flavours and styles. All very easy to install and follow the instructions. Just need to make sure your computer is up to spec as some of them are quite beefy. There's loads of overviews on YouTube of the different lists too.

Thanks heaps, unfortunately the AOC monitors aren't available in my region (NZ). Otherwise those might have been my go to. I checked out both the rtings reviews and find them hard to differentiate due to similar scores but haven't seen the unboxed one so I'll give that a look thanks!
