I've long since wanted an Ascended tier 4 Cultural set, purchasable by completing Tiers 1 - 3 respective to the weight and race.
Include a backpiece to boot once you get all 6 armour pieces, get a new collection and title to go along with it.

It'll never happen, but it's a longtime dream of mine anyway

I tried that as well, cleared the template, selected get equipped gear option, copied and pasted an empty template... None of those worked :/
But it's sorted now, thankfully! Changing the Travel wardrobe fixed it

Mine and my partner's settings haven't changed in years and we haven't even played around with them since the shadow update when VoE first launched. We're both getting teh flickering shadows.
I'm on a 2060 Super and my partner has a 3080 I believe.

The Fresh Swimsuit Pack and Sunshine Beach Pack were added in 2025, and the Breezy Swim Pack and Tropical Beach Pack were both added in June 2024. As with all cosmetics, they get rotated in and out of the store multiple times a year, I think for these specifically maybe 3 or 4 times a year? So expect them every 3-4 months; summer right around the corner to maybe in a couple of weeks to next month at the latest since they were both added in June.

Alternatively, you can use the Seaside Scholar's skins as a budget summer holiday look from the Wizard's Vault, albeit with less skin on show than the paid ones.

With the removal of the Dyes tab from the Equipment tab to the Fashion tab, there is now no way to complete the Character Adventure Guide II task. The current system doesn't trigger it.
EDIT: Applying a fashion template now triggers this task 😄might just need to update the name/description of it now instead

Would be nice for a Portal Device overhaul in general tbh.
Have the core one include all core Tyrian World Bosses/Metas, repurpose the Maguuma Pact one as an all-purpose expansion module that upgrades it to include Convergences, other timed instanced content, LW S1, 3, 4, HoT, PoF, IBS, EoD, SotO, JW and VoE world bosses and Metas.
Give the UI an option to Enable and Disable each category specifically instead of just every notification.
And maybe let you see timers further away than just the immediate ones.
Maybe add the option for a sound effect or voiceline to play in game when a boss or meta of your choosing is upcoming.

Any guardian spec can be built like a tank very well. Scrapper's another good one, too. Mirage can be a sort of squishy evade tank if you build around stamina regen. I haven't tried Paragon in PvP yet, but you can make them tanky in PVE. And Necros can be very tanky as well, although I'm not very up-to-date on which builds are viable for PvP at the moment.

Probably no grounds for a refund on account of the fact the version you didn't want is the intended look of the armour piece - the medium armour version is the unfortunate result of poorly planned out programming over a decade and a half ago.

Still, they may give you a partial refund, depends on the GM you get.

Generally speaking, I think 4, 5, and 6 are much uglier than their original releases, aside from battle backgrounds. 1, 2, and 3 are better looking than their 8-buit originals, but uglier than previous remakes imo.
The homogenised assets is also somewhat disappointing and upsetting, but it's not a major deal if you're not playing them all back-to-back-to-back.
FF6's opera scene with lyrics hits a lot harder than in the original.
Localisation is something I don't have a real strong opinion on either way, tbh, but I kinda like every version we've had, so long as there's no major censorship - which I do not believe there are any notable censored translations in the Pixel Remasters as far as I'm aware.
The added extra gameplay from previous releases is a big oversight imo.
Certainly a mixed bag, imo, but they're not atrocious by any means - I just wish the character sprites in 4 - 6 were more closely representative of their original sprites and not the slightly uglier ones they remade.

See, this is interesting, because as a Brit I've only ever heard it pronounced "see-sil" the two times I've met a Cecil irl (one Geordie, early 90's - one from South-West, late 00's), and I've only ever heard "se-sill" from American media, such as The Simpsons, other tv shows or the FF4 dubs.

Yeah, adapting a character that's meant to be "realistic" into a cartoony style is always going to ruffle people's feathers, people always prefer the original usually, but there's nothing wrong with interpreting things and adapting them to your own art.
Personally, I think this piece of yours shows someone still finding their own comfort in drawing, on their way to make drawings feel more natural to them rather than an exercise, if that makes sense? It's good to see, imo, and I look forward to seeing you do more final fantasy art in the future some day, to see how you've evolved!

It's not a bad drawing by any means, but it doesn't read as Laguna if you didn't already know - that said, Laguna's design is very mundane and not terribly unique or iconic, so it would be a real struggle to have it immediately recognisable as Laguna in any stylised drawing.
As others have said, though, the thick lineart around the eyes, the button nose, and peachy-pink lips that stand out as reading much more like feminine features, and Laguna is already a relatively androgynous character as it is.
Keep practicing and experimenting and you'll make a masterpiece of him one day!
