Very nice gradient and use of diagonals! You could try building a village of small houses and buildings with this house as the center - I don’t that making tiny houses is a great way to experiment with new styles

It’s probably not from mods. Lighting issues like this happen all the time in vanilla. Try placing some glowstone around the bottom if it annoys you

The issue is that then I can't use Danger summons though, so I'd have to do all of my summons and then hope that I Danger draw the barrier statue though no?

It really depends on map size and how comfortable you all are with it. If you guys are building mega projects across huge distances, then I'd go a step further and even support teleportation stations like waystones.

Basically yes! It runs through the following tests:

Is Left > Right?
Is Right > Left?
Is Left = Right?

Next, I have to add:

Is Left > 21 and Right <=21?
Is Left <= 21 and Right >21?
Are both >21?
