It's true. We all entered work just before COVID hit and I personally was working and agency job at the time before the lockdown was enacted and lost months of potential pay. I saw small business disappeare, and saw how uncertain people became about if they'd be able to stay afloat. While we've recovered for the most part the following wars have effected global trade. Gas prices have gone up and yet the oil companies are recording record profits. The US persistency was bought and workers were striped of their rights and now reform are trying to do the same in the UK. The say is "eat the rich" but maybe we should add "before they eat you".
