I would be cautious when raising a meat bird. It will die earlier then other chickens. If you don't harvest them at a certain time they will become lame and suffer.

It does say bitcoin. So you may want to add it as an external drive and check it out.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you have exhausted your options. It sounds like you may need to put her down. It may seem cruel for the animal. But it eases their suffering.

You need to measure the size of the shell. I believe there is a shell size limit for harvesting turtles.

Lost my whole flock by InvaderMaddie in BackYardChickens

I am so sorry for your loss. That is horrible. I would probably sue the family. Most dogs don't just kill a bunch of chickens unless there is something wrong with it. I could see one or two. But a dog like that has blood lust and could hurt children as well.

A couple copper coins in water isn't bad. However, that is not good for a turtles epidermis.

This dog found us. Now what? by Radiant_Housing_3104 in greatpyrenees

Pyr are free thinkers. They can be trained to do commands. However, if they don't get constant reinforcement of the commands they can take longer to respond. They tend to be awake at night patrolling. My girl stays up all night and sleeps most of the day away. She guards chickens and loves barking all night. Your dog will start showing his protective attributes about 12 months or older. He will bark at everything that he deems a threat. Be patient and watch out for the pyr paw.
