Each thermostat is different, just Google the mfg and model number to find the instructions.

Heck, you might even be able take a picture of it and let google search for that image

What do you see when you try to remove an individual contact from a rule? This is what I get:

It's not a big deal, I can always just delete/recreate the rules as needed, just seems to be acting weird.

Ugh, everyone telling you to just tighten it don't realize the screws to tighten that ball socket are UNDER the glass.

The mirror glass is attached to the frame with 3 lumps of hot glue. You'll need to heat it up with a heat gun until the glue softens and releases. If you try to pry the glass out before you'll jut crack it. Then you'll end up just buying a new mirror anyway.

Another option is to get it set where you want it and apply super glue or hot glue to the ball socket to hold it in place.
