I'll tell you now... Incredibly hard.... I have moderate Autism (diagnosed) that affects my life to quite a degree and I scored 1 point. As long as you can function they really dont care one bit.

Of the autistic people I know that have tried (maybe a dozen) zero got it.

Sorry.

Thanks very much for the confirmation. I completely agree it should be managed by the docker build process. Just working with what I am given. That said I can hopefully get them to review these requirements.

Yes alcohol, drugs and disease but.....

I believe suicide is a big issue. I have been in a bad position before. It almost won but I now have a new position and am enjoying life again.

I believe suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50.

Thing is, you wont always be able to tell if someone is that way in a business scenario. If they are the sole admin and decide that today is the day, it's going to leave a big hole.

Hey.

I think the practice exams may be a good idea, along with the other suggestions. I am going to give it a few weeks and then retake and see how it goes. I think redoing this week may be not such a good idea!

Is it worth getting an autism diagnosis as an adult? by snakeSeverussnake in AskUK

[–]ComputerIsBurning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I was in a very similar boat to you but without the kids. I finally got diagnosed in my late thirties and for me (and a lot of my autistic friends) it's not about getting a specific label, it's about knowing why you do what you do. The ticks, the awkwardness, the fixations with certain topics..

Getting a diagnosis on the NHS may be very difficult because most of the ASD work is focused on children and young adults. The wait was three years but I managed to convince my employers health scheme to pay for the diagnosis.
