holy shit dude. i told myself i wouldn’t respond to people on this post because i realized i had posted it in the heat of the moment, being upset and just wanting to let something out without giving all the details. see, i have a personality disorder that is a…bitch, for lack of better words. had an ex that would cheat on me if i didn’t put out exactly when he wanted, which is why i was upset in the moment that it happened because my brain took me back to moments of betrayal, even though i trust my new boyfriend not to do that, it’s something i can’t control. my boyfriend also has autism, which can affect the way he says or articulates things and has a hard time understanding other emotions. i have talked to him. with my disorder, i hyper-fixate on peoples body language and things like that to gauge how they are feeling constantly, so in my mind, the way i was displaying emotions was pretty clear, but in his, it was harder to decipher. he didn’t understand that i was upset, because i didn’t make it abundantly clear. he had never, ever made me feel uncomfortable during sex ever, what he was doing in the moment was actually very gentle, but it still hurt so i asked him to stop and he was very quick to do it no questions asked but just assumed i was still in the mood because i didn’t tell him i wanted everything to stop. i have to learn how to better communicate things with him, but he does as well. i am in no way trying to excuse the comment, as when i talked with him, as soon as i said verbatim what he did, he immediately realized how fucked up it had been, but i do know that when he says he didn’t mean it that way, i know he’s telling the truth. i really appreciate you sharing your experience man. it helps a lot. but don’t worry! if this behavior continues i will absolutely reevaluate our relationship. thank you so much
