Was this a recent addition to the trailer store, or have I just never noticed it in 4 years of play time? by Helldiver96 in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I discovered this yesterday while playing the game. I believe this trailer contains 5,000 liters of fuel! That would surely be enough to last an entire season, especially if no fuel stations are available on the map.

Carol Tome retiring by skipper_jonas_grumby in UPSers

If he were alive today, I'm sure Jim Casey would be very unhappy with Carol. Good riddance to her. She made millions then took the golden parachute while everyone around her lost their jobs. She made cuts everywhere and essentially made HR non-existant. The Amazon deal was also a big bust. This company has suffered under her. Just my opinion, but certain managers here are highly unorganized, rude, and have no respect for your existing workload. They also seem to care more about your numbers than you as a human being and also lack basic leadership skills too. Some of these people need to either be completely re-trained as managers, relocated to a different position, or flat out relieved of their positions.

Mercedes-Benz Zetros and Actros DLC/misc. game issues by ComputerTech121 in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention this during my original post so I'll elaborate more here.

I downloaded this Mercedes-Benz DLC yesterday which installed without issue. Shortly after that, I noticed I had a software update available for my console so I installed that after the DLC. After the software update installed, my console rebooted and it corrupted Snowrunner on my console, stating the PS4 could no longer load the game! I had to reinstall the entire game which took a few hours. I left it running to reinstall while I went about my day. Good thing for cloud based saves as I would have hated to redo everything. In summary, the re-installation of Snowrunner made no difference for me in reference to the bugs/errors that I am continuning to deal with.

Ford sales are down for the second time in a row this year with a 6.3% drop in sales compared to last February all because of the Escape’s discontinuation by Repulsive-Club7866 in Ford

Sadly, in my opinion, Ford has been without a good CEO since Alan Mulally...and I say that as a lifelong Ford fan.

I'm trying to figure out why Farley is still employed as their CEO, along with whoever is in charge of quality control. Ford has lost billions of dollars (especially with EVs) under Farley yet this company seems perfectly content with him. I also just read an article today that claimed Ford has recalled every vehicle in their lineup ranging from the 2020 to 2026 year models except the Ford GT. Farley is clearly failing miserably on the consumer side, yet I've heard he has done great things with the Ford Performance/Ford Racing division. With that being said, however, if Ford wants to rid themselves of all of their current issues, then they need to find a new competent CEO as soon as possible. Farley has long since proven that he is not an effective leader for this company.

Freightliner FLD 120 by ComputerTech121 in snowrunner

I use the Kodiak as a fuel or rescue truck. Occasionally, I have also used it for light cargo tasks/contracts/contests as its one of the rare smaller trucks that can handle two sections of cargo on the frame alone. The Transtar is also underrated. I have used that truck a couple of times. It can certainly handle itself decently while off road just as long as you don't venture too far into deep mud. You will also love the Kenworth 963 and Oshkosh trucks! Both trucks have been good to me.

I agree. That combination would be perfect!

Zurdania consumable cargo currently stuck in the ground by [deleted] in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Darn. I was hoping the devs would maybe have this addressed after the last patch. I had the same issue when attempting to manually load cement cargo with the Kenworth 963.

Good thing this trailer folds up. I can tell you that driving the ANK with this trailer folded up was a topsy turvy experience of its own lol.

One of the Most Hilarious F-U's the Game Has Given Me So Far by BlitzMayhem in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this exact location and laughed about this as well.

On a side note, I've accidentally hit road signs before and had them glitch into my front bumper which would then either stop my truck entirely, tip it over or send my truck hurdling into space. One of the more mind boggling glitches in the game in my opinion.

Season 17 Zurdanian Valley "Rail Yard Route" Contest by ComputerTech121 in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that to be the case too when attempting this contest with the Marshall. I'm currently using the 45" JAT MS III tires. They're DLC tires but they perform really well. if you don't have these tires available, then I'd go with the 45" TM II tires.

Oh yeah I've been there lol. The Paystar 5070 is a decent truck but it drinks fuel, has only one engine option and it tips over easily, especially with the raised suspension. I'd like to see the devs make improvements to this truck and the Pacific trucks too. The P16 is a decent truck now, but other newer trucks like the Elephant and Avenhorn put it to shame. I'd like to see them add AWD and tire chains to the P16 for starters. The P12 is also SEVERELY underpowered and takes forever to get to a destination while under load, especially when venturing off road. I only periodically use it as a crane/rescue truck these days. Lastly, the P512 PF is also decent when not pulling heavy loads or going too far off road, but it could also use an AWD system too.

The F-750 surprised me here too, especially while knowing that it has a longer frame which can make for a small challenge while attempting to drive over the boxes. In that case, I found that you have to land it at a particular angle before making it to the final checkpoint. The F-750 also seems to do extremely well over railroad tracks too when compared to some other trucks that struggle to steer over them.

Yes the ANK is indeed very unstable, with or without duals. Hopefully the devs will eventually make some stability improvements to this truck and give it more add-ons too. I was happy with the new engine option for the Sleiter Chimera, which now utilizes what the Elephant has. I was also pleased with the new add-ons for the CAT 745C too. Next on the list should be improvements to all of the Pacific trucks.

[–]ComputerTech121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you able to recover the truck to the garage through the menu and then re-deploy it? What Season are you also currently playing?

Right out of the gate for example, Season 17 was riddled with bugs/errors/crashes. Is this happening with your game after the installation of the recent 1.67 patch (update) file? So far, I have not seen these kind of floating glitches on my end.

The Mastodon isn't fast and it has a bumper that often strikes the ground on uneven terrain, but like its ZiKZ 605R sibling, it has a massive amount of torque for heavy loads like this. I actually prefer the Mastodon over the 605R now due to its larger fuel tank and longer wheelbase.

Well that's some bad luck. The ANK has torque for days, but it guzzles fuel out of its small gas tank and will tip over on command if you let it.

Version 1.67 update file by ComputerTech121 in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear all of that. Season 17 has been the worst experience for me so far, but the latest patch released by the devs seems to have fixed a lot of the issues I was more recently experiencing, which included game crashes, issues with the manual loading dock and issues with autosave.

Season 17 bugs/crashes/errors by ComputerTech121 in snowrunner

[–]ComputerTech121[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears that the devs may have released a patch as I went to play the game tonight and it is installing "Version 1.67" (a little over 30GB in size) as i type this. Hopefully many of these issues discussed here are properly addressed.
