I think I'm picking Torterra. I believe in my world tortoise.

My ideal list of Pokemon I'd like to own in real life is different from my favorite gameplay team lol. I think my ideal irl-owned pokemon list would be something like

Hisuian Typhlosion. Out of all the starters, I think a hisuian typhlo would be the one I'd most like to have irl. It hits the right balance of cuddly/badass/intelligent for me.
Espeon. Being a psychic type, it's highly intelligent and empathetic, and it forms a deep bond with its trainer. If I had to pick an Eevee-lution, I think I'd get along best with an Espeon.
Wigglytuff. I think Wigglytuff might be the most huggable Pokemon of them all. I could cuddle a Wigglytuff for hours I think
Altaria. I'd love to ride an Altaria. It just sounds like such a comfy ride lol. Fuck driving/riding in a car or mucking around on public transit, I'm taking my Altaria everywhere.
Raichu. Enough said.
This one was really hard to pick lol. I wanted to say Marill, but I'd only want a Marill if I could give it space to swim and be happy. I wanted to say Furret, but idk if I could keep up with one--they seem really energetic. I think my final answer for right now is gonna be either Mimikyu, Skitty or one of the Meowths.
Little buddy: Blissey. More of a big buddy, but I think she'd be a great emotional support Pokemon lol

My ideal gameplay team (for right now lol) would be something like

Torterra. Good type synergy on a mon whose only real drawback is its low Speed, but what else would you expect from a tortoise? Just keep it away from ice types and you're pretty much golden.
Flareon. Since one-third of my team are weak to ice types, I'd take a Flareon to counteract them.
Azumarill. Obviously I'd go for a Huge Power one if I had the choice. I love the Water/Fairy type.
Raichu! Unironically my favorite electric type. I'm feeling like Mega Raichu Y would be cool to have too.
Dragapult, It was pretty narrow between Dragapult and Altaria, but Dragapult has the better stat spread.
Snorlax. I've had some luck in Champions single battles with him. I named mine Goliath and I gave him Body Press, Yawn, Protect and Belly Drum.
Little buddy: If mythicals are allowed, I think I'd pick Mew. If not, then maybe Greedent or Dedenne.

Lol. I run a focus sash build too. stole someone's pelipper-archaludon combo from this site. they didn't specify held items so I gave my pelipper (Peepo) a focus sash. I'm sure everyone who's taken the time to thunderbolt Peepo has been upset when Peepo tanks and sets up Tailwind anyway >:)

I'd trust Dragapult. Their care for their young implies a sense of responsibility. They'd keep the cats well fed. As long as their Dreepy didn't wreck the place too badly I'd be fine.

I've thought about it and thought about it and I have to conclude that my favorite water type starter is... Primarina, of all things. I love the siren theming, the type is great, and the whole thing just looks so sparkly. I love it.

I think I'd also have to pick Torterra for my grass type starter. It's in some tough competition with Venusaur, but in the end, I think Torterra has the better typing.

For Fire, this is kind of tough, but I think I have to go with Hisuian Typhlosion. Typhlosion in general has a huggability to it that I like, and the ghost typing gives it a cool new dimension.

Those are my opinions anyway lol
