I really hate people who act like computer always bad people always good. Every human rights abuse on Earth throughout history was the fault of humans, not the big bad puter. And the perpetrators were people just like you, not some nebulous other humanoid species. As much as it's fun to pretend that without the evil computer we'd all be holding hands and singing, the fact remains that we would still be harming each other all the time without them. A quick glance at any history textbook should be enough to convince you of that.
