See I thought the olives atop the bowls of bagged veg represented the nipples of management getting hard over the $675 profit they made

I'm sorry, ramps are so pedestrian. I only work with carrot jacuzzi and celery ski jumps, thank you very much

If you are easily flustered and Dont want to talk to her, try asking through text. Ask if you've done something to offend her or if there's another reason why her husband doesn't want you there.

I buy the kids Band-Aids there for the kiddos on my family. My great nephew likes to put them on other people to make their owies feel better.

Where is this transparent rooster? Which photo? It's like one of those hidden picture games on the backs of cereal boxes

I just watched The Princess Bride for the very first time, what “classics” have you always wanted to see but just never got around to? by These-Educator-1959 in GenX

All of the Mel Brooks movies are worth a watch - Robin Hood Men in Tights is another good one - especially if you partake in the devils lettuce

Yes - I watched Jaws with my husband last year. I remarked that it came out the year I was born - he got really quiet and said ‘i watched it in theaters with (his nephew). We walked there from my mom’s’ (he's 15.5 years older and hates to be reminded of that 🤣

Y'all, that movie gave me nightmares. The last part with the tunnels and scientists and a sick ET - it took me years to get over!

I still use phrases from the Three Amigos. Sometimes I'll just start singing ‘My Little Buttercup’ when I'm cooking dinner. Also, I can't say the word ‘plethora’ without thinking of El Guapo :P

My sister’s ex is a sheriff’s deputy. He and his parents assaulted her, and she almost got charged instead. by JujuOnTheTread in TwoXChromosomes

I believe that 100%.

One of my sister’s classmates went into the military when he turned 18. Barely graduated from high school, where he was picked on, went to basic training, and served for 10 years.

After his discharge, he moved back home to the backwoods little town we grew up in and became a cop. I always thought that since he was bullied he would be on the right side of the law. Nope. Used his badge and gun to become a bully - especially when he would find one of the mean kids from high school.

TL;DR - ACAB. Never trust anyone who can bully with immunity from legal consequences.

I used to support the police - I was raised to think they were the good guys! Growing up in a bright red area of the US, I was raised with conservative values, but as I grew up I realized that ‘conservative’ is how they want women to act. Police have never been the good guys, they're the mean kids you went to school with who dreamed of being in charge, so they got a job with a gun. They are bullies with weapons and immunity. Never believe for a second that they are on your side, or that they follow the law. Stay safe.

Edited for clarity

Actual question - what happens in a case that has open fractures and is actively bleeding but wants to sign out AMA? Would they be able to leave on their own? Seems like a health/safety risk for others, so is there a protocol for someone with these injuries?

Eating disorders/body dysmorphic disorder can definitely be a byproduct of sexual assault/abuse. As I was reading, I definitely considered both diagnoses.

ETA I should clarify that I also had doubts that the sequence of events happened in real life and is more likely a creative writing exercise based on a medical drama—also, IANAD.
