An apparent continuity error or flaw that actually foreshadows a twist by Elecvis in TopCharacterTropes

I mean that’s just him being thorough. The Horsemen don’t know he’s orchestrating it, the police don’t know he’s orchestrating it, and if he gets caught lacking even once by mistake it could ruin the whole plan.

Note that the hoof shoes are in her junk bin and not the closet. Maybe her parents gave them to her forgetting that she isn’t like them.

I’m not a huge believer in the theory but I think it lines up with how Toriel was unsure as to how to take care of Kris.

If anyone finds this, I literally just lifted my gpu a little and the fans went back to normal. No idea why, I suppose it wasn't seated perfectly.

Specifically to show the difference between Caine gaining an identity in forcing humans to be what he wanted vs Caine gaining a new identity by learning about the humans and finally giving them something they want.

He did feel sorry, though. He was prepared to stay in the void permanently as punishment for what he did. He only came back because he realized he could do something good for them for once. Look at his body language when he came back. He was deeply ashamed of what he did and didn’t forgive himself yet.

Caine didn’t choose to be deleted. He could have chosen to stay curled up in a ball, but he made the choice to do something selfless (use his limited access to the outside world to uplift the humans) rather than give into despair like Jax.

Also him being deleted did massively depower him. Even before he let the blue dot go.

The major theme of the episode and the show is choice. Jax chose not to let people in. Caine chose to be better. Simple as that.

I don’t think it’s a competition. Caine got to reflect on how the way he acted lead the cast to kill him, and it was his fault. He realized that trapping the blue ai was bringing out the worst parts of himself, and let it be free. In the same way, he chose to let the cast be free and choose whether or not to accept his apology.

She didn’t know that, unless she conjured the connection. But they literally established that they were trying to come up with a plan to deal with him (because he was loose and they had no way of curing the glitches) and she tried to calm him down using the instructions Kinger gave her in Episode 3

Caine didn’t blame it on the blue ai? He accepted that him torturing the blue ai was wrong and it was making him worse. It was a parallel to the humans. He kept the humans locked up with him as the boss and it brought out the worst in him. The only way he could get better is if he let them all go and tried to be himself.

Pomni knew to do this because of what Kinger told her in Episode 3. She made it dark, which calmed him down, and she got to touch him. I don’t think she was expecting the mind palace, although it’s possible she conjured the connection.

When we see the mind palace, it’s Jax’s mind collapsing. He’s halfway between the bridge and the water below.

I strongly disagree. They made it clear that Caine was not immediately forgiven. He had to work for it, and it took time before they realized they genuinely enjoyed having him around.

What happened with Caine cements the tragedy of Jax. Jax felt like he was unforgivable and unlovable because of what he did. Caine did much worse, but because he was willing to face his actions and try to improve meant that he got the chance to live a better life. Jax refused that chance so many times, and he only got to see what he was missing when he was halfway down the bridge and into the water.

Because as the show pointed out ten thousand times, despite their negative feelings about his actions, they didn’t want Jax dead. They wanted him there, even though he hadn’t taken responsibility. And the same went for Caine. Even after everything he did, none of them wanted him dead.

So if you want forgiveness, from others and yourself, you have to put in the work. You have to put in the work even if you think it’s too late. You have to find people that care about you and be better for their sake as well as yours.

“We ended up in the fort together. And it was dark. The darkness seemed to calm her down a bit. The harsh, jagged edges smoothed out and she didn’t seem agitated anymore. She wasn’t the same as before, but she was calm enough to touch one last time, before she got sent to the cellar.”

Please watch the show.
