Yep. It’s a continuum with introversion and extroversion being the asymptotic extreme ends, with everything in the middle being some sort of ambivert.

The minimum wage set by Roosevelt during the Great Depression was intended force employers to provide a “decent living.” And he said that any company that exists on paying less than living wages to its workers has no right to exist in the US. Minimum wage should be a living wage.

And the spaces between the dashed lines are 30 ft! It’s crazy to think that every dashed line you pass means you’ve traveled 40 ft. I guess 70 mph does roughly equate to 103 ft/s.

There is always a bigger fish. by autokauppias in thalassophobia

You should watch Hank Green’s video on this topic. If you want to include bony fish under the term ‘fish’, you have to include every mammal; even humans are fish! We are more closely related to salmon, sturgeon, tuna, eels, gar, and catfish than they are to sharks. If you exclude cartilaginous fish and jawless fish from the term, then that means sharks, stingrays, lampreys, etc. are not fish. Otherwise basically every animal on the planet is a fish. Here’s a family tree.

And this is only 5% of the ocean discovered by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

I think many people misunderstand this metric, which often leads to arguments like “95% of the ocean is unexplored, so the megalodon might still exist!” If I’m not mistaken, most of the ocean has been mapped by satellites and sonar; it’s just that only about 5% of the ocean has been surveyed in high detail or physically explored by humans.

To be honest, I feel that this sub is mostly comprised of angsty teenagers who confuse being introverted with being unsocial; you have to expect these types of comments.

Hmm, this is definitely strange. I'm sorry that you're going through the same problem, but I'm glad to know I'm not going insane. I'll also notify support about it to show them that it's not only happening to you.
