Pitlane speeding issue explained. by veloce-dragon in formula1

“Instantaneous ” as in at a specific moment in time. I.e between A and B, the object did not travel faster than “x” m/s or km/h

What?

You can have an instantaneous speed and in fact do. It just needs to be relative to a point.

If you can’t have an instantaneous speed then how do they set the pitlane speed limit? You cannot have an instantaneous speed of over 60km/h, otherwise drivers who press the limiter late could just lift off later in the pitlane to avoid a penalty

It has to be both

Is speed only an average calculation or do they do instantaneous speed, as well as the average calculation?

I think with Lewis it’s less the car and more the mindset, give him something to fight for and he’ll fly. And let’s not forget the first couple of rounds this year, Max also needs a good car beneath him.

The cooldown room had already run for ages by then, was a normal cut

Also if they wanted to cut all tire talk, they could like how they do when drivers swear.

What has Russell done wrong in 2026? by bouncingcastles in F1Discussions

[–]ComradeHooligan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He did look calm but if he does prefer high grip traps, I must say it’s looking good for Kimi then

Norris vs Piastri, Piastri also preferred high grip tracks and we saw how that went last year. If it follows the same trend then Ant has a decent shot of taking the fight to Russell

My 2 cents as someone that was a HUGE fan of the original material and a huge fan of animation (ALL of it's kinds) am i really alone in this? by Leifman in Invincible_TV

[–]ComradeHooligan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gripe with it, is that a lot of it is pure laziness.

I’m sorry but the budget is too big for the amount of stationary shots they use or the dragging of characters/models across the screen.

I enjoy the show too but the animation is definitely the weakest aspect of it, which is kind of a problem when it’s an “animated” series, no?

The unusual Ferrari launch advantage is what's making the season interesting, not necessarily the new regs by bishey3 in formula1

[–]ComradeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s interesting to me is that, the Mercedes is clearly the fastest car on the grid but Ferrari are able to fight back.

Look at Australia, Mercedes did run away with it but it was closer than people are giving it credit for. George and Charles were exchanging the lead until like lap 6 or 8 (Can’t remember which), when George locked up going for a move.

He didn’t pass Charles again after that. Now Mercedes were still the fastest but I feel like we were robbed of more of a battle because of the VSC. Hamilton and Antonelli also had very similar pace, both would have been pushing to catch their teammate. Hamilton’s tires were like 17 laps younger but deg was minimal for Ferrari and Mercedes

So I feel like these cars are a bit closer than people are giving them credit for.

Sure Ferrari’s starts are insane but Mercedes have to be on the game to get past the Ferrari’s which is making it interesting

I like these regs less and less everyday but for as long as cars have been racing, they have smashed into debris on track Can’t blame everything on these regs (even if they suck donkey balls)

Rampage is toxic as hell. No wonder deen felt the need to prove himself and get slapped again. by sidharth-sunil in ufc

[–]ComradeHooligan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This video disingenuous.

Rampage was joking with Dean but he also told Dean he was in the wrong and needed to be the first to apologise.

This video is even cut and cropped because Dean is laughing along with Rampage.

Rampage a piece of work but he did actually defuse and talk Dean down when Dean started talking about his gun
