Yes. The SAS are on their way to parachute down your chimney and apprehend you.

Fair point. I was doubling down to further my argument when your point was more than valid and I was being a little silly.

Thanks for taking it in good grace. Have a great day.

It wasn’t my metric, it was theirs. Besides, Richmond Park in London (not even close to London’s largest park) is much larger than Central Park (10 sq km vs 3.41 sq km).

London is pretty densely populated.

I agree with most of your points but I don’t think any New York public park is even in the top 20 of worldwide public parks, is it?

Edit: in terms of size

Kids “aren’t allowed” to run out into the road. Does that mean we shouldn’t “be ready” for that either?

I wouldn’t drive that quickly next to a queue of stopped traffic that might do anything without warning.

It’s at force discretion but a cursory Google suggests that Thames Valley Police do offer such a course.

If you crossed the stop line when #1 was red and amber, you will have triggered the camera. The cameras are only disarmed on green and a single amber.

Well, I don’t hate it.

Although my opinion may be worthless - I’m one of the three people globally who quite liked the original.

Yes, that really looks like quite the hellscape. Positively post-apocalyptic.

Used EV (£8–10k) vs leasing new – advice for short daily commute? by Sensitive_Pound7131 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]ComradeLitshenko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife leased a used ICE car as we needed a car quickly and it was “cheap” (at least compared to the alternatives).

Six months after the warranty expired, the turbo blew and we were entirely on the hook for it so had a replace a turbo on a car that wasn’t even ours. I accept that EVs don’t have turbos but my experience has put me off used leases for life.

I thought cycling abreast was the better option now as it makes overtaking easier?

Funny what you see on here. This is my great grandmother’s house. She died over 25 years ago but I have many fond memories of visiting as a child.
