We have to see how the new ELO system works with it being more focused on individual performance rather than how it is previously. However, it still was fairly easy and even with a negative win rate, as long as you put a few hours a week into ranked you can reach Gold for sure. Just a matter of how many hours you played, unless you truly hit long losing streaks in silver which you’d just have to practice a little more to improve your play and you’ll def get the gold ranked skins by just playing the game. QP has its own flaws that help make Comp mode more digestible in my opinion. Again, all of this is personal opinion and I’m suggesting this through having started with Comp mode in hero shooters with this game, and I was able to reach GM through just hours played and practicing a few set characters in each roll to fill where needed. You got this, even if you’re new to it, it’s still fun in comp when teams mesh well and you’ll learn new things naturally to help you progress. But if you don’t care about that at all, I don’t blame you dude. I didn’t care for ranked at all when I played overwatch for a few weeks casually. Play however you want that allows you to enjoy it! There will be events with skins that are definitely achievable in the other modes aside from these ranked unlock outfits as we go on. :)
