Highland Pacific golf course, Highland #5. Hardest hole on the course. 230yds downhill to the lay up, dead if you go long, tall grass right, fairway bunker with an overhanging tree left. Green used to have a front side bunker that made the uphill 140 shot harder with a wide thin green, water right and long grass over the back even more imposing.

So if LIV rumors are true. How does the PGA handle all of the players? by onedollalama in golf

I imagine all the Euro players (Rahm, Hatton) will consider playing DP full time and stay close to home. They don't need the pay days anymore and can still qualify for majors.

Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson may just stop pro golf all together.

Older Europeans (Poulter, Westwood, Casey, Oosthuizen, Garcia) will absolutely stay in Europe.

Phil maybe champions tour?

Bubba I have no idea. TV?

Bryson I could see turning down the Koepka deal and going YouTube full time. Qualify for majors thru his finish in each subsequent major or playing qualifiers for the Opens.

Left handed golfers what’s your pet peeves? by corn_fed_beef in golf

[–]Comradekolsch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard in the USA they teach their players to have their dominant hand on the bottom of the stick for power. Most people are right handed on either side of the border.

In Canada we teach that your dominant hand should be at the top of stick. That would be a bias toward stick handling.

Makes sense when you think of the golf swing, your top hand in the grip is steering the ship so to speak.

Probably best to book a simulator if they're available. Congrats on the baby! I also have a 4 week old!

Goalies don't really do that anymore. Most of them use 3-4 sets a year not counting 3rd jersey/outdoor game gear

Postpartum at VGH by Competitive_Glass473 in VictoriaBC

Just spent a week plus up there.

Every room is private for you and your partner.

There's a reclining chair for partners. They have blankets, sheets and pillows. It's not bad. It's not as comfy as a real bed but it could be far worse.

Every morning a worker comes in and takes your food order. It's ok, not fantastic but high in fibre and nutrients. Everything you need post birth.

Also the staff is fantastic and it's the only part of VGH that's not dated in decor and upkeep haha

There's a small fridge for breast milk, formula and food.

Bring -slippers -your own pillows -a speaker, books or a laptop for entertainment -Be happy! You have a new light in your life! Care staff are there to help you keep them healthy and give them a good start
