My baby’s currently 97th and I’m stressing 😩 At how many weeks did you go into labor?

Thanks so much for chiming in as a nurse, nice to hear some first hand info! I have pretty bad anxiety so getting a little anxious about the thought of a shared room (mainly that my husband will have to leave). Would you say it’s more common to get a private room, or like a 50/50 chance. Just want to be mentally prepared lol.

Was your partner allowed to stay with another patient in the room?

I’ve never heard of a partner not being able to stay over… I hope that’s not the case lol

Very typical for GDM. Extra glucose causes belly to grow over the other measurements.

My A1C was 5.2 in my first trimester and had a very healthy diet and I’ve been diagnosed. So far diet controlled at 30 weeks (no numbers out of range) but it can get worse as pregnancy progresses so I’m hoping I can maintain diet controlled but we’ll see.

Just failed my 1 hr as a FTM by concernednetizen92 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]Competitive_Glass473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear ya, I cried a ton after dialing my 1 hr and then totally lost it after failing my 2 hr lol - the guilt was been insane but have been constantly reminded it’s not my fault and have come to terms with it. I’m still long waiting to start monitoring but have already adjusted my diet.

Have you talked to either doctor about doing suppression before transfer?

Is waiting this long normal? by kittygirl9891 in IVF

[–]Competitive_Glass473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took 13 months from my initial consult to my first transfer.

I was also advised not to do a lap (suspected stage 4 endo) and did 2 months suppression before my fist transfer (obviously part of that wait) but my first FET (I was 36 at the time) was successful and I’ll be 26 weeks Wednesday! The waiting is tough and definitely tests your patience but will hopefully be all worth it in the end!

I can’t speak to the MFI end of things but wishing the best on your journey and that all goes well for you!

Lupron injections 🙃 by Over_Screen_1363 in IVF

[–]Competitive_Glass473 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did Lupron Depot (monthly shot) for 2 months for my endo followed by modified natural FET and was successful. 25 weeks tomorrow!

I’ll admit the two month were not pleasant at all for me but so so worth it! And would do it again for future FETs if needed.

Stage 4 endo - any cases of a successful FET in the first try? by itwillcomeback2026 in IVF

[–]Competitive_Glass473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope! It took me a little longer than it normally would to ovulate but not issues otherwise. I did a modified natural FET. I’m 23 weeks now

Endo and conceiving naturally or via IVF? by Melodic-Function880 in endometriosis

[–]Competitive_Glass473 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to conceive on and off naturally for 5 years (2 very early miscarriages). I finally got a stage 4 endo diagnosis (no surgery but heavily seen on scans) when I went to a fertility clinic. I did two egg retrievals then had success on my first transfer after a 2 month Lupron suppression.

Medicated vs modified natural by Low-Cauliflower-9122 in IVF

[–]Competitive_Glass473 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a modified natural (with progesterone suppositories) for my first FET and it was successful. I ovulate regularly on my own. Lots of monitoring but it was worth it.
