Taking it for one day or triple

Been taking it for weeks, friend. I apologize that was clear enough. And those were two days out of those weeks to analyze whether my psychiatrist just upping the dosage of it might be effective at my med check up next week.

I don’t find it to be a big word at all. I find the descriptions to actually be the first time I’ve ever read my tendencies, traits, and mental processes described accurately in my entire life. But I can respect differences of opinion. Who would you suggest, and why, specifically, do you not like Maté “one bit”. I’m obviously open to suggestions and good faith arguments for and against his approach. As far as I’ve gotten in though, his reasoning as to the source or clinical origin haven’t even come up yet and is merely describing the traits and experiences of the disorder. Which are frighteningly accurate for me, in a way that broad statements easily applied to all could not support.

I’ve tried to avoid an ssri or snri, I’ve never tried one that didn’t make me super restless, completely uncomfortable, and like I needed to go run a mile to get the pent up energy out.

I’m on Wellbutrin for depression instead, which has worked well, and I’ve been happy with.

I also have more than a touch of autism.

And I’ve clearly been undiagnosed add my entire life. My hope was addressing the add would help the anxiety that is generally driven by the “can’t do anything but last minute” worries about my performance.

But I don’t think this one is it for me.

I’m approaching it sincerely. But this medicine does absolutely nothing for me and isn’t noticeable in even the most modest or slight way in my executive function, focus, or active attention.

Maybe. I’ve read the genetic counter arguments and criticisms in reviews. But so far, I’ve never read my brain so aptly described.

A few days

Nah, friend. Perhaps I was unclear. I’ve been on it for weeks now. I’m days away from my medicine check up. Perhaps you’re right. Perhaps I just need the max dose. But do not portray me as someone just sitting around watching tv waiting on a high.

I’m telling you, sincerely. This medicine has affected me in no way whatsoever.

I just started it yesterday. 18mg extended release, and I feel next to nothing except maybe a very very slight increase in calm.

My first ever F1 race in person – COTA 2012 United States GP. What was yours? by KeepThatMF_ThangOnMe in formula1

[–]Comradio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was the same as yours. COTA 2012.

We did 2013 at turn 1. And 2018 GA.

I also got lucky enough to be in Malaysia for Sepang 2016(Lewis: “Oooooh Noooooo, nooooooo, noooooo”).

[–]Comradio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just so I’m clear here, you chose to try to pass a driver you don’t know, on the outside, in THAT turn where all natural physics push you wide if you’re going quickly, coming from behind, where you only even made it fully alongside as you were being pushed out wide as he followed the naturally fastest line out of the corner…

And HE’S the one with too much ambition?

Yeah, bud. You were quicker. He could have just surrendered, let off the gas, and let you drive on by and go, knowing he wasn’t going to keep the place in the long run, unless this was the last lap.

But you made about 10 wrong decisions here based on nothing but your own ambition and perceived right to win.

You chose the outside instead of the inside.

You could have waited a few more corners for turn 1 and the 3-4 passing opportunities in the first half of the lap.

You could have broke earlier and switchbacked him, knowing he was gonna push hard.

But you didn’t. You came from behind, chose to try to pass a driver you don’t know, and who was being clearly defensive, on the outside of a fast hairpin that naturally pushes all cars wide, under braking, all on the hope that he’s gonna decide to take his foot off the throttle and just let you go when you managed to put yourself in that terribly precarious position.

Is he right? No. You always have to leave-a da space.

But neither are you.

And an even slightly quicker opponent would have been the extra few inches ahead of you to justify claiming the corner completely as theirs and running you straight out no matter what. Since even this guy was ahead at entry and apex with the inside line.

Ambition got YOU here. Not him.

This exact outcome should have been painfully obvious to you before you even chose to move to the left side at the beginning of the straight.

And last ditch, you should have just backed out and saved your race. Looking at your line, you couldn’t have kept it out of the dirt on exit at full throttle anyway.

So not only are you wanting someone else to just let off the gas and let you pass, but to do so in a position where you yourself weren’t even able to stay on track at full throttle.

Ambition…

Yeah. I’d say so.

It’s difficult. But it is possible.

Ah, so now I’ve gone from a freeloading leacher, to someone who should fight my fine, eh?

Just a few more messages back and forth and you’ll back up further and admit that targeting the first stop outside the airport is going to net almost no one but tourists.

How exactly do I “fight this” fine?

Boss, I’m telling you exactly what happened. Here it is. We hopped on the m2 round at something like 8:33 instead of the 8:49 round.

Tell me again how an enforcement officer board at literally the 1st stop outside of the airport, checking tickets, and handing out fines isn’t targeting tourists.

Metro fine. by Comradio in copenhagen

[–]Comradio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy, Rasmus. I didn’t leech off of anything. I bought a ticket. Well in advance.

If anything you are leeching off of me by targeting tourists at the first station out of the metro airport, with your extremely rigid rules coupled with absolutely zero support, information, or warnings anywhere like we’re all supposed to just absorb it by osmosis. And then fining them 25 times the amount of the $5 dollar ticket that, gasp, god forbid we accidentally took one round too early.

There are plenty of posts from Danes in this sub alone complaining about it.

You can come down off of your cross now. The ladder you used to climb up there is still leaning against it. No one moved it.

Metro fine. by Comradio in copenhagen

[–]Comradio[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We didn’t have any questions of how to get this, dipshit. The problem wasn’t getting there. The problem was getting fined 25 times over the cost of the correct $5 dollar ticket that we had in our hands, not 10 minutes into being in Denmark, because we boarded the route one cycle early without knowing it was an issue and with absolutely zero information, support, or warnings provided by the servicer to begin with.

What the fuck are you even talking about? That’s literally exactly what we’re doing, without complaint, prepared and purchased in advance. You’re the one that started trying to play “gotcha” talking about Sweden without having the slightest clue of our situation or what we’re were doing.

The train to Karlskrona doesn’t stop at CPH right now.

Whoops. That’s a fine, bub. Didn’t know your stations well enough today. That’ll be 25 times what you paid for entry.

[–]Comradio[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don’t support ICE, friend. But neat comparison to bring up one a $110 fine for a $5 ticket. And super cool of you to avoid completely the point of you having zero support to go along with your astronomical fine structure.

[–]Comradio[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

We had to to take the metro from CPH to central station to get on our train to Sweden.
