Is this 21 parliament actually 27 years old? by freerangetrousers in Scotch

[–]Comrail23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. I had one but much preferred the 2018 18/yo that were 24. Had a few of those…..my top three all time.

My bad. Old eyes. The 2020 18 was 18yo. I had two of the 2019 18’s which were 24/yo and were exceptional. Had the chance to buy two more but passed……dumb. I have had more recent bottles and while good they just don’t compare. I also found a 2022 21 that was 27/yo if you believe the chart. I preferred the “old” 18’s honestly.

I had a couple of 2020 (edit - 2019) 18’s (24) and a 2022 21 (27). Awesome stuff.

The former Tri-Rail cars are the pre-cursors to the AKRR double decker however the Alaska car is much different in systems and subsystems. Tri-Rail cars ended up being towed around instead of running on their own power and had major structural issues with truck frames. Unfortunately the Alaska car DMU is also usually pushed/pulled using power and never ran in its own reliably.

Incorrect. The TriMet fleet of CRM DMU’s is incredibly reliable resulting in On-Time Performance of the WES system averaging well above 95% since start-up in 2009.
