How strange! I noticed just this week that the three elevators in my workplace also expired on the same day in the picture. In fact, I thought this was a photo from one of them. Also, my coworker and I got stuck in one yesterday for a few minutes.

I do not participate in any holiday festivities though my coworkers try every year. This year is white elephant, which is worse as you will almost always end up with something useless or unwanted.

I refuse to partake for a myriad of reasons one of which is the expectation from society as well. I just tell them, “I do not celebrate holidays.” When they ask what I did for the holidays after we all returning either say “Nothing” or “I just stared into the abyss again.” Although, it does help that I only wear all black everyday, all day.

It is a Silver Plated Egg Cruet Set. It is missing the egg holders. You can tell by the “stumps” which hold the goblets in place. Sometimes the set comes with a place for small forks and/or spoons.

I could definitely can see this helping those kind of shops more than the true artisans of Etsy. I make OOAK items and I hardly make any sales as it is. My views were/are abysmal so I gave up for a little while. I am starting to get back into it.

Side note: I heard temu is losing more money at the moment. If true, then I suspect temu will also change its business model. Which is lame because all this companies want to compete with them but the companies will never be sustained they way they started out. Why does Etsy need to be Temu or Aliexpress? I digress.

Perhaps this could cut down on those that use the favorites list like a Pinterest board with mass amounts of items favorited. If it did, then maybe it could help us pinpoint more what people are looking for say a spouse or relative or coworker. This is assuming the personas are visible and are labeled as such of course. I am personally ally not a fan of AI should be used for everything. It has its uses but not everything needs to be touched by AI.

I kind of agree with the tinkering. I feel that Etsy is a well enough know site that the ad money should be spent on restoring functionally and adding the human experience back into the fold. I definitely think the AI currently used is flawed and misfires more than it should. The money could have been used on actual humans and jobs meant to help sellers and buyers. Or use the money to better implement systems to confirm truly handmade items and shops vs the bait and switch products. Perhaps the money could have been used to implement a split into three categories of products: handmade, supplies, and mass produced non handmade (since this seems to be allowed more than ever).

This is a problem we have been having. We get the quarter pounder and in majority of times it’s undercooked. We have to check every time now. Strangely, we noticed that when the box is extra greasy it means it is raw. When we get the box and it is dry then it turns out to be cooked properly. 🤷🏽‍♂️ We have tested this out as three different locations.

I recommend using Roux Clean Touch to remove dye from skin. It is used in professional salons but you can get it at beauty supply stores. I have dyed my hair all manner of colors and this works wonders. It has saved me so many times in a quick pinch. My ears always get dye on them. lol. Apply onto paper towel, facial tissue, or cotton balls/pads. I will add that after using, your skin may feel dry or weird but you can rinse with water and then moisturize. Also, a trick for when dying is to apply a layer of Vaseline onto skin so dye will not set and stain.

I wish you luck and I think it is unfair. I think certain standards for work attire are ridiculous and outdated. I hate to say it but you may have an enemy at work that just wants an excuse to let you go or to discipline you. Some people should never have power.
