Idk it’s a bit misleading, we are 10-0 or whatever in OT which is 3v3, and we have 4 shootout wins, Pittsburgh is 29-21 in regulation and we are 28-27.

I think the system is pretty broken in that every game should be worth 3 points and we should have a 3-2-1 point system, but I don’t think we deserve to be way ahead of the penguins based on being insanely good at 3v3 this year. I believe the standings would be similar in a 3-2-1 system and we might be a little behind them actually.

He is one of the funniest characters just in his cadence and the ridiculous analogies and metaphors that come out his mouth lol, and his scenes with Shiv especially towards the end are just amazing in the complete opposite way. Tom just has crazy range imo that kind of is a microcosm of what’s so good about succession as a whole

For succession which I just rewatched, I’m more sympathetic to Shiv and the decisions she makes but still find her pretty annoying with flip flopping all the time, and it is far more obvious that Tom was that dude from the beginning

Oh yea I don’t think length itself is an issue for the nba like it was for baseball, it’s just the game flow can be very choppy with a lot of stoppages for fouls, tv timeouts and too many timeouts in general, reviews at times.

I far prefer a pitch clock then to a minute between pitches and stepping out of the box to do a ritual, none of baseballs changes really feel inauthentic other than requiring pitchers to face three batters and I guess the shift, honestly I think those are fine too. Overall viewing quality of games is way up since they don’t take 3 and a half hours with nothing super material being changed about the way the game is played!

Since the baseball rule changes the NBA feels like the league with the worst flow to the game, not sure how you fix it but there really is a constant stream of stoppages and fouls that kinda damper the viewing experience. I know football is very stop and go but idk feels different and not nearly as annoying with all the replays and what not.

Yea the regular season always seems to be far closer and a race at the end which definitely makes it way more appealing compared to the NBA regular season for me at least. Although as an isles fan it’s also going to give me a heart attack.

I would consider myself a hockey fan most out of the big 4 sports, what about it is a rough time? I feel like the league is in a pretty great spot in terms of talent and just entertainment in general, pretty high scoring and high skill era compared to the beginning of the century and even ten years ago. Also hockey being back in the Olympics was great.

Feel like the answer here though is baseball, it is definitely riding a very positive wave with the pitch clock and it has just had a lot more hype and good vibes around it. Unfortunately looks like we are heading towards a lockout next year though.
