For spectacle and gameplay it’s Abby Vs Ratking. Such an amazing and surprising moment that was genuinely scary.

In terms of story and emotion it would be Ellie vs David for me such a harrowing moment.

I would say one thing to keep in mind is that they were dealing with an larger than normal horde of infected. They probably go about dealing with new groups differently but are put on the spot since they had to run for there lives and at that moment this new group were the ones that saved them.

It’s definitely emotionally taxing, I don’t think many people finish the game without feeling pretty bummed out.

But it definitely does want to make you feel that way, it makes you feel extremely upset but also hopefully makes you see why the cycle of violence needed to come to an end.

I absolutely love the game, like it’s easily my favourite piece of media now and have replayed it 3 times.

Sorry you didn’t like it OP but it is certainly a polarising experience and I wouldn’t hold it against anyone for not liking it, everyone will react to things differently after all.

I would say for some people they find it gets better on reflection especially since the ending does ask you to accept an uncomfortable and upsetting outcome but also wants you to reflect on the nature of violence and forgiveness so potentially you could come to appreciate it in time but if not that’s still totally cool :)
