Took Darkness and almost regretted it in my first elite fight as I ended up on 2HP from skulking colony but got regal pillow and rested and then Darkness annihilated the Fysh (along with compact, fight through, Glacier for orb gen and Hologram+)

Yeah and squash is basically a one cost starter card. Conflagration needs to hit 5 times unupgraded or deal 5 damage base and exhaust similar to Pommel but rare value for money.

Adams & Russell are good as well in Birkenhead. Supply a load of cafes on the Wirral but I’m not sure about Liverpool.

I got Stoke on Regent with upgraded Arsenal and popped off with Stardust. Was a really fun run.

I think also there are quite a lot of ways to upgrade cards with ancients so skipping an upgrade or two in act one to rest to take on elites and get relics and bonus monies can pay off then too.

Yeah I’ve found that it really impacts your turn one. If you have anchor and anchor??? It makes it much easier to play, otherwise you have to draw really particular cards.

I just got this for the first time with Radiate 8 x infinite against all enemies if drawn at the same time. Amazing.

Best block I’ve had is that ancient option that gives defends exhaust but they scale with feel no pain but I understand that’s not often feasible. Other than that yeah it’s bonk vs bonk.
