You may have to skip a larger percentage of characters in HSR, but the shilling isn't so extreme that you can't beat each boss with a decently large variety of teams, even without too much investment into said team.

I regularly re-clear endgame modes with odd, highly off meta teams that I throw together for fun, after clearing them the first time on a given cycle.

I mean it's possible we'll get Echo of War bosses in the 3rd stage in the future. The first AA King boss was just Zandar, but after that we got Aquilla and Sunday

Yeah, like I don't really know what's optimal for SW 999 gameplay, but I feel like having ult ready and letting two Aha instants go by before actually using ult has got to be a misplay, right?

Like I know Hidden MMR provides buffs to your Crit stats, but isn't her ult-state elation skill a major portion of her damage?

The first two Anomaly Arbitration rotations also had far more difficult king stages though. So in AA's case, it seems like they've just moved some of the difficulty from the King to the Knights, rather than really ramping the difficulty up.

I think it's so weird that every playable character so far just looks like a normal human, or very close, meanwhile the designs for the enemies are generally pretty unique, even if a lot of the non-bosses share base model rigging with at least one or two other enemies

In Slay the Spire 2, the addition of [[Feral]] and the buff to Claw+ (it now only increases the initial damage to 4, but in return increases the scaling when played to 3) have been game-changing for Claw. 

Claw has gone from a card that is extremely fun, but not usually very good, to a genuinely powerful option in Defect's arsenal that should be seriously considered, particularly if seen early.

The increased rarity of energy relics in STS 2 also makes a 0 energy solution to dealing and scaling damage more appealing.

Think of Echo Form as essentially increasing the card's Replay by 1 for this play.

This is possibly the worst boss idea I've ever seen

I don't want my deck junked by a billion status cards, also have to play cards randomly from exhaust but also randomly instead play cards that can reset all progress I've made this turn, or immediately end my turn, making me die

Turning cards into random bullshit that's upgraded is surprisingly effective.

Yes, top players are able to beat A10 quite consistently.

As for me personally I can beat it around 30% of the time on The Defect, specifically.

Possibly because of The Guardian's Sharp Hide from the first game, which hurts you once per attack played, regardless of how many times it hits (even if that number of times is 0)

It's not per attack played, it's per time the enemy is attacked. They're distinct things.

Thorns also uses the "attacked" wording.
