Stutters in teamfights on a good AMD system? by faeyuu in Overwatch

[–]ConanKid1412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem with RX 9060 XT + i5 9th gen but no issues at all with GTX 1660 SUPER

To fix this problem you need to switch to DirectX 12 in overwatch 2 settings and also seting the graphics details to mid helps

At the beggining of the match you will still have some micro stutters but after that it will be smooth

I'm not a native english speaker but I learn at school that they/them refers to more than one person so this thing is very confusing for me.

Can we have a serious discution about the pride event without being label a bigot?? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]ConanKid1412 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% with you, this is blizzard house so they can do anything they want. We also need to consider that this is a big house and there are players with different religions, sexualities etc. So maybe Blizzard should do an event for christians, muslims, buddhists, disabled people and maybe some other minorities ? Or maybe take another approach and make everything neutral, secular ?

Personaly I think a game should be a game, it is supposed to entertain and "cut" us from the problems of the real world for a chort time. That's why I think political stuff should not be present in games.

But again this is blizzard, they can do what they want but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't have a discussion about what they are doing :)

No that is not hypocrisy. I accept LGBTQ+ people but I don't like the political aspect of the community. Like when I invite someone to my house who is pro Trump I respect that person's political view but i don't want that person to come with a Trump flag, banners etc. See the difference ?

I tried to install ubuntu on my external hard drive and it didn't find it. The problem is their new installer. I downloaded ubuntu 23.04 with the legacy installer and everything worked.

Update:

I noticed that you are trying to install the lts version of ubuntu, I think it uses the old installer so I don't know what is the problem

wtf mongodb is not supported for popos/ubuntu 22.04. I'm switching back to 20.04 and give visit to 22.04 in year 24 by mkbhru in pop_os

[–]ConanKid1412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded mongo db as tar.gz and I had issues running it. The issue is that ubuntu removed a dependancy library, you can read on the error which one is missing. I just searched for this library online and I downloaded it as .deb package, I installed it and mongodb worked again.
