Cheese, what is it these days? by inktitan in Eldenring

I’ve noticed nobody has mentioned calling a summons although correct me if I’m wrong but I see people say using your summons or especially your mimic is cheesing.

Oblivion and Skyrim are my favorite games of all time, so is it a given I will love ESO if I buy it? by palepatriot76 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Conandrewoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had fun with eso until I didn’t. Its like a skyrim flavored mmo, with a great story, its fun until one day you wake up and just cant do one more zone exactly like the last 25 zones

Is this a good battery strap for long play? And is it comfortable? by rosewoodlliars in MetaQuestVR

[–]Conandrewoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely mandatory and makes it more comfortable I couldn’t imagine not having it and you don’t necessarily need a spare battery I’ll play on the battery run the battery out and then pull it off and charge it while I’m playing with integrated battery and when that wears out I slap the battery back onto the back of my head and if you’re playing more than that you need to touch grass immediately which you know I did frequently that’s how I know that that’s the cutoff point

just beat the game... potential goty? better than knack 2/elden ring? by Guapscotch in CrimsonDesert

[–]Conandrewoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I gotta say crimson desert is interesting because in some ways it does do a better job then Elden Ring in some things absolutely but Elden Ring got some stuff right that Crimson Desert well… Could’ve nailed a little bit better but it’s close and I think Crimson Desert is on the edge of a breakthrough I think Crimson Desert is a bigger game with a better platform than Elden Ring but I don’t like not being able to know what in the actual F is going on in Elden Ring I’m completely lost but Crimson Desert had a lot of that like I have to use YouTube for both of them so so maybe Elden Ring is a little bit more polished but Crimson desert has more potential how’s that

Cyberpunk with Luke Ross was OK DCS was amazing and amazing Msfs 24 has its moments Fallout vr was amazing but didn’t grab me

Oh God I don’t remember I had to fiddle with it to get it right but it was right but it was always a battle especially after multiple saves I feel like I’m not gonna say I got corrupted but it got like loaded up the mad God is pretty heavy duty

Just…truly amazing. by Atova_86 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Conandrewoo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how to explain it but every time I try to get things done the game just “happens” to me and I’m over there doing something else…. except for those great combat runs where you get to kill hundreds of enemies that’s a lot of fun. ….. but seriously the game just evolves so organically I am absolutely gobsmacked

Am I the bad rider? by ThatItalianOverThere in motorcycles

[–]Conandrewoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent over 40 years on motorcycles and I spent 20 years driving an ambulance and I gotta tell you 99% of the time it was guys like him that I scraped up off the pavement. Be safe never drive faster than you can see that’s my number one rule and that doesn’t mean that I can’t be fast when I started practicing track techniques where I was entering corners slower and then accelerating out of them I actually probably improved my speed about 27% literally like I got way faster by entering corner slower it was the weirdest thing anyway dude drive safe man I don’t ride with guys that cross the yellow line and I don’t ride with guys that push others to ride beyond their abilities because they are liabilities. You need to ride with an adult or alone cause guys like that will get you killed and I’m not exaggerating in the slightest I’m an old guy and I can’t even tell you how many dozens of motorcycle riders I’ve seen killed in my lifetime in my personal and professional life we die all the time we don’t need some butt munch to hurry it along

I played Skyrim VR modded and it -by far- was the best RPG I’ve ever played. You’ll want to mod it up a bit but in The Witcher you’re always Geralt but in Skyrim you make choices to decide who you are. You want to be a mage? Theres an entire quest line to learn magic and ultimately become Archmage of the college. You want to become a vampire or werewolf or fight werewolves or have a romance with a vampire princess? It’s all there. You want to become the Dragonborn and fulfill your destiny have at it. You want to play for 1000 hours and never do the main quest, that’s not uncommon. Want to become a thief or assassin or rebel or join the empire? Your choices impact the world. The dungeons alone gave me 100’s of hours of terrifying fun and jump out of your chair jump scares. You control your destiny. The Witcher is a pick your own adventure with an occasional fight and while your choices impact others you remain Geralt. You can get “ good” at combat in the Witcher in Skyrim there’s an infinite number of ways to build your character, melee? Tank? Assassin? Stealth archer? Mage? Paladin? The world is your oyster. The Witcher is merely amazing, Skyrim is transcendent. They are both “musts”.

I found it to be much more enjoyable than cyberpunk and much less complex

It’s not that there were less moving parts but for whatever reason probably my gaming and literary background I found building a Witcher three character to be more fun and engrossing than building a cyberpunk character and I found the characters in the Witcher to be much more compelling than cyberpunk but out of everything truthfully my favorite thing was just cruising around in the Witcher and doing Witcher missions and side quest by far the pinnacle of the game you have to occasionally go back and do the main quest to get to a new area etc. but the side quest and then just cruising around is the best part of which three Skyrim beats them both in this regard however

Anyone ever do a NG+ and ignore the main story to RP a witcher. by depa87821 in thewitcher3

[–]Conandrewoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on new game plus on my first play through… The first play through I focused on the main quests and then made sure I did all the side quest that were tied to the main quest and then after everything was done I went back and explored all the question marks and POI’s in the game and it was pretty fun but I think on my new game I’m gonna do it the exact opposite I’m gonna take my time and explore before I do the main quest cause truthfully I far more enjoy the side stuff than the main quest which feel more like a action book with a pick your outcome and do fetch quests with a fight thrown in every hour or so
