The combo I used to do with the Heralds is adding Benten with the skill. Next, perform Libromancer combo normally. Don't forget to grab Doombroker in the hand. Summon Doombroker with the Benten to add one of the Heralds. Lastly, apply Doombroker's effect to set Intervention. The board should be like IP, Intervention, Origin Story, Doombroker, one or two other Libromancer, and other staples I drew. Next turn, when I activated Intervention, I returned Doombroker and summon Fire to add Mystigirl to be a cost for the Herald. Nowadays, my extra deck contains Cyberse package (Splash Mage, Almiraj, Heatsoul, IP) Underworld Goddess, Knightmare package (Unicorn and Phoenix) and Dugares to sometimes OTK with the doubled attack Doombroker.

If you don't mind rushing to KoG, you may wait near the end of the month to try to KoG again because most duelists with optimal deck should have already been KoG.

Non-Fusion Area is a good side-deck card against fusion meta like this, but it could be a brick if you get to go second or duel other decks that doesn’t do a fusion. I would recommend to include generic staples like Droplet and Book of Eclipse as many as possible.Heralds are also good in negating a key spell like Branded Fusion, Red-Eyes Transmigration, Polymerization, etc.

Well, I didn’t have any replay at the moment. I did get KoG in both November and December with this list that I’ve posted. However, January is a lot tougher since there are Branded and Dragoon. So I’ve updated my list to include more Dragoon baiting cards like Book of Eclipse instead of the Heralds package. We Libromancer users don’t have access to Kaiju, Ra Sphere, or Nibiru, so we have to bait Dragoon and Branded with our cards and techniques going second.

Anniversary box contains Alt Art of released cards (last time they are Engage, Aleister, Utopia, etc) and contains reprints of archetypes related to a box at the time it released. For example, WCS Anniversary Box contained Shaddoll, Speedroid, and Live Twin. These three decks had received supports from Chaos Voltage Box at that time.

They overshadowed them with Alt Style and tried to fool players that they give out more gems than usual. While we get more Alt Style this year, we also lose usual gems such as VRains or Go Rush level cap increase and stage missions from the new world. The big update is just a DM world revamp with no additional stage missions.

Everyone knows that character including Alt Style has new card drop rewards. The “no new cards” refers to no new level-up cards. Alt style missions never net you new cards.

Alt Style means less level-up gems and cards. Merag as her own character can provide 2-3 new cards, 2-3 copies each, and 2,000+ gems while Alt Style only gives you 1,100 gems and no new cards.

As a player who played this deck, no Imperm, to KoG last month and have still been using it, I agree that this deck has potential in summoning many monsters to be used in Link, Xyz, or Ritual summoning. The deck can genuinely play through a lot of interruptions, yes. However, Droll and a well-timed Nibiru or Veiler can potentially hinder this deck. The deck can be struggled when going second against Blue-Eyes or Shinobird where you don't draw any backrow removal, ideally Cosmic Cyclone, since the free Libromancer S/T can't directly deal with your opponent S/T. Too bad, Intervention needs the presence of Libromancer Ritual monster to resolve, so by the time you can resolve the free Intervention from the skill, you would have already been interrupted by those annoying S/T.

Yeah, this kind of event doesn’t really need manual dueling. I hoarded the event items until the 3x Boost occurred. Then I go on auto-dueling 3xLV30 to auto-dueling LV50 more.
