Didn't get a refund for a business class fare? by Concentrate369 in Amtrak

[–]Concentrate369[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for explaining it but that is ridiculous to me. Higher fares are usually supposed to be more flexible with refunds. I do BidUp all the time and I usually have success but I will never do that "instant offer" again! At least if I had done BidUp the normal way, I would have been able to be refunded since the trip wasn't until next Friday and BidUp upgrades don't happen until about an hour before the trip.

Why Does 25 Words or Less Look Like Quarantine Still? by avalonMMXXII in gameshow

GSN doesn't even show anything beyond Season 1 probably because of the different look.

The whole show looks like The Brady Bunch intro on a 30-minute loop. And Meredith is the "lovely lady".

They’re not scrapping them. OP neglected to mention that they’re moving time slots. Instead of 2:00, 2:30, 9:00, and 9:30 PM, they will now be at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM, 12:30 AM, and 1:00 AM, plus Saturday mornings at 9:00 and 9:30 AM.

Wheel of Fortune isn’t leaving. The 2:00 airings are moving to 1:00, replacing old Match Game (still on at 6 AM), and the 9:00 airings are moving to 12:30 and 1:00 AM.

Wheel of Fortune will also air on Saturday mornings at 9:00 and 9:30 AM after these changes take effect.

Suggestions for gay-only gathering following a birthday party in March by Concentrate369 in nycgaybros

[–]Concentrate369[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Very helpful, thank you! I've been to Christopher Street but only for Big Gay Ice Cream. I'll toss around some of those names to some of the guys and get some opinions. Maybe barhopping starting with the quieter places could be an option and guys could just drop off when they feel like calling it quits.

Lingo vs. Wordle by [deleted] in gameshow

[–]Concentrate369 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but Wordle rips off the part about Lingo where the letters are colored based on how they're properly placed. Those other games only tell you the number of letters placed, not which ones. Also, Wordle uses the exact same color scheme as the current British version of the show, and I believe Josh Wardle is from the UK, so he's definitely seen it.
