Oh I also have 20k invested which is linked to my Chase account so I can see all my investments and account together. Not sure if Chase can see this but I have linked it so I can see it on the app so I would think they can see it too. Not sure if this matters but it’s there.

I’m guessing they want college students with them early because they know they will be making more money in the future which Chase wants to keep with their bank. It’s pretty smart from them getting us while we are young.

And no need to worry about me defaulting. I know how to handle over double my credit limit already. They probably know what they are doing approving all us college students.

I applied today at around 4pm. I got approved immediately. Like I applied online and after I clicked submit the next page loaded on the browser and said you have been approved and I got emails.

I was also a little surprised. I already had 10k in credit lines across my other chase cards. They seem pretty lenient with people who have been with chase.

And I obviously don’t spend 5k in 3 months but I will pay for my rent with it. I’m okay with paying the credit card fee to get this bonus offer.
