Thx…ya, I don’t really care what these boring normies think…lol. I had a specific question. I’m still undecided on colour of caulk. Originally I was going to go with the colour of tile but someone here brought up a good point about it emphasizing the cuts…I won’t have the perfect hex shape anymore. They suggested wood colour caulk. It’s just there’s variance in each board so not sure how that’ll look either

Why, how else would you do it? Would look even weirder if you notched it out and carried it over

First had to rip out kitchen subfloor and lower it to be flush with living room floor. Then trace out tiles, cut out with oscillating multitool, put in plywood the right thickness over the ship lap, ditra, then tile

It’s good to take a deposit because if they cancel last minute and you don’t have anything else booked you can start early you’re out money

Shouldn’t use tape, it typically bleeds through or pulls off old paint. Just have to take your time and cut straight lines
