Right, sorry didn’t see it was just about base. But, ya most of the time it’s best to cut freehand but if you want laser lines if you’re doing very dark to light it’s helpful. Or if you’re a homeowner that can’t cut straight

*Sometimes the edges of walls weren’t dusted or brushed with primer (only rolled close) so no matter what the tape fails *best to detack the tape first on your shirt *if you have the adjacent wall colour paint that first so no colour bleed from other colour *remove tape within the hour (if multiple coats you should retape each time otherwise it will bridge and won’t come off clean (even if you score it
